Xenforo Update

This forum is a bit outdated now.

You guys should update to the latest Xenforo version. It allows alot more features for both Staff and Users.

For example?

The new version allows mods to ban users from a thread. IF the user is breaking a rule of a specific thread, for example a count to 1000 thread, and he keeps purposely messing up the game, a mod can ban the user from replying to that specific thread. Either for a temporary time or permanent.

Also, mods can have an "Give Alert to user" option when the mod uses a mod action. So lets say that a mod deletes a thread of mine, the mod can select the option to alert the user with a custom message saying that the thread was deleted because it was not allowed or something like that. Same thing can be done for Moving posts/threads.

For users, There are a new quote system. Right now, in order to quote a message. You have to click quote. And if you wish to quote a specific part of a message, you have to quote the entire post and then delete pieces of it. The new version allows you to highlight anything in a post and quote the highlighted text. It also allows you add the highlighted text to the quote list.

The new version is also alot more stable than the current one. I notice that this forum tends to get alot of errors once in a while. The new version can probably fix that.
