[GI] Terror Gate finished before ammo update

I was just wondering something. I finished the terror gate (twice ) to finish the quests before the ammo rewards were put in. (Went through nearly a year's stockpile of elite ammo to do it!)

I'm very glad they thought to make this change, it's very nice, however is there any chance that people who have massacred their ammo reserves going through the waves before this update might somehow get an ammo package of some sort?

Even if it's just a bit of what's being given out now it would be a decent gesture, since none was dropped while we did the gate.

 

I feel your pain. However, DO will not compensate you for changes made after the fact.
If you read the T.O.S. DO has the right to change the condition(s) of the game with or without notice or compensation.
Veteran Players call this the DO Bait n Switch.

Sensible people realize this was a change made by DO after they read the feedback.

"Bait and Switch" is when something is offered purposefully knowing they are going to change it at a later date in order to benefit from it. The changes to the Tunnel are very good and benefit everyone, that is not a bait and switch tactic by any means.

People get pretty tired of the same old players going out their way, looking and trying to put down the game for everything, even when the change is purely a good one.

 

Btw I want to say, that ALOT of UFE ships didnt even use ammo in the gate.
You can do the complete gate with Kamikaze.

You get alot of ammo if you do it like that and of course also Uridium.

I can only say "thx" @ BP for this change.

Finished the gate when it first came out before the update also... whereas I would have only done it once due to the length and elite ammo used. Been through it 5x now since the update, and plan on doing it as many times as possible now

I compliment DO for quickly making the needed modifications and being generous with the ammo drops. We should be thanking them !!!
