[GI] LF-4's

Looking for opinions on the best way to get LF-4's.

 

Gonna wait LF4 day.. best way to get them..

 

Have to wait for LF4 day, have to wait for helix hour, have to wait for upgrade hour, have to wait for rebates, have to wait for Zeus day, have to wait for apis day, have to wait for Kronos day and so on and on. Getting sick of always having to wait, even with tons of uridium. That is the problem. Verry clever design by the designers, making sure you are nothing even with money ^^

 

Booty boxes, I think, are by far the best way. I don't know if you have any Havoc designs or not but if not I'd suggest completing a lot of Zeta gates to complete your set of Havocs but they also give a lot of keys and logfiles as a reward. So you just hoard your keys until a LF-4 day appears and go ham.

 

LOL.... lf4 day isn't the best way to get lf4's....... you will see lots of people complaining on lf4 days there not getting lf4's lol

helix lf4 days and lf4's days will give you plenty of lf3's

first of collect a swag of keys... 20+ is a good start - pick a map - OPEN ONLY 5 GREEN BOOTY PER MAP

IF you get ammo or 1hour booster/log disk only move to the next map then open another 5 green booty
IF you get a SPEED GEN/BO2/LF3/10 HOUR BOOSTER in the first 5 booty on that map carry on opening an other 15 booty... 20 keys total MAX on that map
IF you get "gear" in the first 5 but don't get another "gear" in that 15 keys on that map move on to the next map

personal experience
best record - 2 lf4 in the first 5 keys for the day... had this happen 4 times
worst record - brought 600 keys opened all booty i came across got N0 lf4 in 1 day before i heard about the 5 booty per map method
best for the week - 6

i no longer bother with red/blue or gold booty days

by all means do zeta gates for havoc/key/log disk reward if you can for the keys and do epsilon gate if you can where possible

I got 2 LF-4's in 3-8 alone on Helix LF-4 day, with around 30 or 40 keys.

It seems short little bursts of 15 or 20 keys gives you a greater chance of getting more LF-4's rather than blowing an entire 100-600 booty keys in one sitting.

 

lf4 makes the odds worst if u try on normal days u have higher chances.

 

I'm gonna be bashing Kappas for LF4s & Hercs pretty soon, I think that'll be a way to go.
After that, probably hit Zetas for the booty keys & open boxes on LF4 day xD

Any methods like that available for Zeus pieces?

I've been in the game for 11 months and only have 9, LF-4's. I have all 10 drones and 10 Havoc's. Guess I'll have to wait for LF-4 day. Thanks.

I might add If you don't have Apis drone parts full it could be tough with booty keys.(I didn't start getting
the amount i thought I should get until I got all my parts for my second Apis drone, between 1 an 3 LF-4s
per 100 keys with a few droughts in between.) My best result have come from enemy battle maps using
between 250 to 300 keys on Helix LF-4-Day. Could be dangerous but it's worth a try.

 

Yes, that is a huge factor as well. Complete your first (or second) set of the Apis drone, because it will knock out the chance of getting an Apis drone part.

 

Im seeing alot of miss information if it took u 11 month to get 9 and I got 8 in 4 obviousely should question what you are doing wrong and bashing kapa for lf4 what a joke the chances are wort then epilon and epilon is higher and kapa needs way more parts idk I keep seeying people in the forums just making bad moves and its just like its there life I guess.

 

wait till helix lf4 day buy a bunch of keys and use them in the same map, one helix lf4 day i bought 400 keys and got 15 lf4 all from the same map

 

You must be quite lucky lol I did just about the same but using 317 keys and I only got 2 lf4s

 

yea i agree °™·°·L♦V♦L♦2♦3·°·™° i tend to do 10-15 keys ever so often and get bo2's speed gens lf3's lf4's more regularly then blowing lots of keys

 

ive found if you blow 30 keys and still getting nothing stop and try another day or try hours later, you will fall in to the trap of "just one more key" lol 50-100 keys later still nothing

ive found it doesn't matter if its lf4 day or not you still get lf4's of green booty on lf4 red blue booty days...

same principles for getting apis zeus parts,zues are harder to get though you will more likely get apis on zues day

 

sort burst of 20-40 keys then 1 hour break for opening booty seems to work better for some reason. as to what map "holds" more lf4's ie company maps or enmi maps makes no difference ive had more lf4's of 1-2 map being in mmo... just follow the method per map you'll see it working
