[GI] Taking random 50k dmg in 5-3?

You saw the title. Why does this happen? I'm going to clear my browser for now, i hope it works.
I've heard it's about something called barracuda bug

Common sight most users come across as well to myself in the past. It involves an invisible barracuda exploding, a quick Solution to get rid of it you need to go to a port and then out of port, get some other NPC's to hit you and then use the Kamikazee Gear on the NPC's which would eventually damage the invisible barracuda to kill it. Or head to port log out and re-log in to the game after clearing your Cache.

I do have to ask if you are still have this issue after trying the hints above. If not, do you the Original Poster have any further questions or may we close?

 

Yes sounds like you got the barracuda bug, the dev team are aware of the issue but as yet no fix as been found.

 

It didn't work. I reloged, i cleaned my browser, i changed maps, i used kamikaze on an npc. NOTHING, maybe it will be gone after server restart

 

I have found nothing to clear these up, you live with them for the day and then after you have played another day in a different set of maps it usually has gone away. It is annoying to have the invisible Kamikaze Bombs going off all the time but you learn to deal with them a sit seems the cause has still not been found. If you have a ship "parked" in 5-2 you might try logging out in 5-3 change hangars to the ship in 5-2, warp to the ship you left in 5-3, then travel back to 5-3 and see if that cleared the issue for you. Many people have had different things correct this issue but they don't seem to be a sure fire solution as you have seen.
