  2. This isn't the proper place to post about this issue... But having had this happen to me before there should be a way to contact them via Phone numbers/Email/Fax etc when you log into Darkorbit and are Re-Directed to the Collection Page

  3. lol, mod edits the entry but does not close as payment issue.

You need to contact the agency, as Apollo stated, using the information they give you when you log in. It probably went to the collection agency because you were away for a long time, or ignored it.

  4. I do not understand how anything can be sent to a collection agency for D O to begin with, the payments are made when item is given. Unless the card charge is disputed and reversed, of course if this had been the issue then there should have been a paper trail of the complaints of dispute with the card company along with the payment support trying to resolve the lack of purchased item for payment but then I guess there is a way to "charge it" without having a solid payment in place, but I do not see it as even PayPal requires an authorization before they make the payment.

As you are a UFE account I would have thought you would have been right on top of the purchases you had made to keep the account and not have to worry about it being sent to collections as what I have seen D O has other steps they take before transferring it to an outside company to collect their money.

If you are waiting for a collection agency to contact you then you can definitely kiss the account goodbye as D O will have terminated it for inactivity by the time the issue is resolved (if it has not already been dissolved).

This is why I use Gift Cards so there is no possibility of this type of issue. I get confirmation from the gift card company along with the purchase receipt from BigPoint.

  5. A card company may block the completion of payment if they get some flags, like payment to someplace overseas. If it does not fit your spending profile, they will flag it. What is worse is they may not even tell you. When you look at your account, it looks like the payment is pending, forever. I had this happen on my main account when I first started playing. I about flipped out. I had been in Germany using my card like it was nothing just a few years before. How do they flag it later? But, HMHY, gift cards do help out, or paypal or something of the like. I get two comfirmations for every purchase. :)

  6. Yes but I don't know any company (even D O) that automatically sends there outstanding debts to collections without notifying the customer that the transaction has not been completed properly. And a transaction that gets flagged is "declined" not "payment held" if questioned. I as a truck driver used my card all over the 48 contiguous states and had it declined twice for questionable transactions, all it took was a phone call to the bancard company and they released the decline and approved the transaction, but never interfered with the payment of an authorized transaction without a dispute started by the customer.

When an account is closed because of outstanding payments it is most likely lost for good as there is a breach of the GT&C's. Accounts as such are not given to a collection agency only the outstanding debt of money owed. Once a debt as been passed to a debt collection agency then all dialogue in reference any outstanding payment must be made with the agency as this is no longer in the hands of BP.

  8. It happens, but the OP has not said how long it was that there was non-payment, causing the referral. I still can't believe this thread is open. Anyways, I made several calls to complete the transaction on both sides with DO stating the card company was not paying, and the card company saying DO had not finalized the transaction. At any rate, I got it taken care of another way, got access to my account again and the charge finally ended the pending status on my card. I have had to deal with your trucking situation as well, oh the times. Anyways, the OP just needs to do as instructed and might get the account again.

@endri , this isn't the place you need to go about that. I would recommend trying to contact support again to get a bit more information.

Closing, this is a high-level support problem above our grade.
