[GI] Best ship for pvp?

Spectrum sentinel or tatarus?

If both are fighting until one player die, I will choose Spectrum, except you are playing against Tartarus with Chevron.

If you are in a real situation, take Tartarus. With its amazing high speed you can escape from most of potential defeats.

No, its duration is too short, it won't help enough.

 

Duration may be short but it's cool down is short as well, unlike the spectrum you cant really use the tactic of running away when it's active cause if they have dbl cd booster its cd is only 10 seconds so just a single spearhead wont totally negate it either. So unlike with the spectrum if you come across a group that has a spear your ability advantage isn't totally screwed, same with the tardarus a spear can ruin your day.

I'd realistically recommend sentinel, diminisher(like a real man) or solace(if want to ring it ofc(or just generally strats to do with ring) then if people use moth you have your ability up your sleeve, though that strat has the potential to be annoying if a lot of people start doing it...) and if want a hit and run ship sure try your luck with tardarus but if you come across spears you will be wishing you were a pusat, the real mans hit and run ship. If you do come across a spectrum without a spearhead on your side you can always just run away from them if they activate their ability, if everyone did that wouldn't be surprised if people got sick of people running from them and use a different ship than that pleb speccy.

Though if you are just solo hunting people who are shooting aliens but find a lot of the people are in speccys, try a spearhead ofc dropping mines ideally bio max damage lance mines then just JAMX those speccys if they try to use their ability(pve using speccy I have no beef but if you choose to use it hunting/pvp in general that is just cancer).


I'll just finish with saying even though me personally wouldn't touch speccy/tardarus with a pole(though if a lot of people start using the tardarus then may not have a choice if im doing solo stuff on sb/cc, though haven't even bought it yet), if you're just hunting nme uppers or elsewhere and not engaging in group fights they might be good choice if you're worried about survivability but in a group fight that has spearheads good luck with that. Cause trust me people in groups are gonna start more frequently having a spearhead/s, unless they're morons.

At end of day depends on your play style which ship is best, there is no such thing as the best ship for everything.
