[GI] Equipment,drone designs and PvE

Hello.I am a PvE player in this game and i would like some advice regarding equipment and drone designs.What is the most efficient drone design for a FE premium aegis with kami level 3 and diamond formation,havoc or hercules?

 

You have plenty of defense on the aegis. Use the offensive drones fo more striking power. Otherwise, you might as well use a big tank.

 

So you are saying that if i want more survivability it's better to equip a tank like citadel than get full hercules?

 

It's dependent on your targeted NPCs. You should/must buy Drill formation. 20% more laser damage is a huge bonus. You can kill easily small aliens (StreuneR, Kristallon,...) without repairing too much.

If you are this lucky guy with an empty server and free Cubikons, you should also buy Ring (+180% more shield). Before you attack load the big super shield (Ring+Herkules+Booster+Seprom+...whatever), then let the Cubikon reduce your shield to 500K while you damage it, use Diamond formation now...easy Cubikon.

 

Keep in mind that most ufe players now a days enjoy the moth so aegis with its healing would be better in this situation

 

Depends on your play style or NPC hunting preference. A short example I can give you is Drill formation and Havocs make for a great setup if you prefer to shoot BK's (Kristallons) for long periods of time with quick little breaks of recharging shields and repping as with this kind of NPC you do not need high amounts of shields, just need some decent damage to pop these fast and easily.

If you are like me, I will now give you a long example about cubing and how Hercules are better than Havocs (IMO) and how an aegis with Hercules allows you to do the "Long haul grinding" on cubes with no boosters, no elite ammos' . An Elite aegis with diamond formation drones and Hercules can allow you to tank and solo cubes on your own if you make a double tank aegis while taking advantage of the +10% shields & +20% HP(from Hercules)which allows you to do a decent output of damage for long periods of time. As this post was about what drone designs are better for your preference I did not want to put too much info about cubing on here but if you would like, I can tell you everything about the cubing aspect with Hercules, Aegis, Diamond drone formation and free kamikaze.
