Can anything be done by the developers or by us players to stop the lag during this event? I, as well as the rest of my clan, were all but totally immobilized when the protegits appeared. We had all changed to 2D and had all settings at low prior to starting. Those of us who could, made sure that all non essential programs had been stopped from operating in the background but these efforts did not help.
This lag makes the event impossible to enjoy and makes immobilized players easy prey for marauding enemy players!
I know that there are many of us who share this concern.

    Thank you.

You could try playing in 3D mode to make best use of your GPU, this will take some of the load off your CPU as 2D mode is not hardware accelerated and uses a lot of CPU resources thus slowing everything down.

The reason we went to 2D was because of the severe lagging we experienced while in 3D during the last crazy cube event. Thanks for replying.

y not get rid of crazy cubes=lagg and have random cubes that pop up in all maps so people can have fun but stops people farming them in x6 maps ? just a idea

    Hello Algeron,

Thank you both for assisting the user with their concern. Turning down the setting will definitely help reduce the lagg issue that the protogitz cause during this event along with the regular cache/flash clearing. We hope this resolves your issue and remember don't pop the Crazy Cubes ;) kami the protegitz :)

    Closing as answered.

    Take Care.
