[TI] It won't show equipment that I took off of one ship in the inventory for the others

After receiving advice to do so, I tried to put all of my good equipment onto the ship that I'd need most and take it off the ship I didn't. However, after taking all of the equipment off my old ship it didn't show up in the inventory for the other. I tried refreshing the page and going to different pages but it still doesn't show up in the preferred ship's inventory. Help would be very appreciated.

 

This has been an issue for a while. I suggest, after deleting BOTH configs of the ship, refreshing the HANGAR (by re-opening it) and then see if the items are available for another ship. You may even have to re-log after clearing browser, flash, and java history/caches. The BIG item some people forget is they have to DELETE BOTH configs of the ship for the inventory to be available to another ship, and the server lag is causing the inventory to not be seen as available immediately (thus the refresh).

Hope this helps as it has been the solution to many with this problem.

 

Yep I agree with HelpME.. most common is people forget to remove the equipment from both configs, done it myself a few times

Refreshing the hanger is important.

It would be nice if there were a way to transfer the drone and PET setups from one ship to another with just a few mouse clicks, much like the current "Transfer" feature which is really only useful if you are changing from one flavour of a ship to another. (ie. from Goliath Veteran to a Goliath Exalted) To only have to delete all the equipment from the ship itself in both configurations would be acceptable since there may not be any easy way to change the "Transfer" feature to handle switching from a Goliath to a Leonov. If removing the ship's equipment still had to be done but the drones and PET equipment could be transferred from one ship to another easily I think it would be a great improvement.

 

I have made the suggestion to make it where once equipment is assigned to A PET or DRONE in ANY Hangar it is applied to them in ALL Hangars. First this would reduce the equipment needed, second, it would allow players to switch ships much faster, third, it would reduce the need to buy so many PET Gears and Protocols to keep ships ready to fly under WARP conditions. This is because for the most part we assign the same equipment to the PET and Drones unless we are setting up for the different play styles (PvP, PvE, or Pally/Boxing), but then this would be a matter of selecting saved setups for these styles and selecting the appropriate config at time of WARP/ACTIVATION.

 

My old Lincoln had memory seat adjustments. Driver 1 would press 1 button and the seat would auto adjust, driver 2 would press the 2 button and the seat would auto change for that driver.

Perhaps some sort of ship/configuration memory would work out. Try and code that haha.

Considering it was talked about when they first presented the changes to the Hangar and to date (a year later) we have not heard anything about it I would agree with you.
