  1. My promerium refinery is not functioning, even though I have enough power, the refinery is turned on, and there is a sufficient amount of duranium and prometid to refine. I've tried turning it on and off, but it still doesn't work. The productivity says it is at 0%, and occasionally, it is at 49%, but goes back to 0%. Does anyone know the problem here, and/or any solutions to this?

  2. What level is the promerium refinery at? If you are working on upgrading your skylab, you need to work on having it a few levels higher than the next one, aka above the Seprom. Is there enough Prometid and Duranium for refining?

I have noticed that too many times,as long as you have activated it,it will work even if it shows 0% production. It seems like it's a visual bug.

Since you have a lab in progress/building you need
    Prometid
    Duranium
    Xenomit
the above 3 materials need to be producing . If any 1 of those 3 modules are being upgraded, you will not produce
Promerium . Also if your Seprom refinery is active it maybe consuming all your Promerium in order to produce Seprom. Turn your Seprom off . Then do a refresh [icon in upper left corner near the Prometium collector]. That should restart production for the Promerium. If you don't see any production yet click on an icon [for example] your Hanger icon let that load then come back and click on your lab , then check production . this should allow production ....

    ]Coldheart[ and theOtherKey like this.
  5. When you do this IF you click the circle arrow (by prometium collector in corner) it will correct the issue because the Skylab is not an ACTIVE screen and only updates when it opens or refreshes. It is not a BUG it is the way it has worked since the inception of the Skylab.

IF all of your refineries are at the same level then you will never have a problem with the production of ores, unless you shut something down. IF still building the Skylab then you will have times when this is going to be a problem for you especially if upgrading a primary refinery or collector and not the secondary or primary (if collector). If your lab is like mine, at level 20, and is still giving you issues you might send some screenshots to support to have them look into the issue for you.

    Hello ĎÃϻÃĞẸĎŜĤĮƤ,

Thank you all for assisting the user with their issue, unfortunately I become a bit lost when it comes to refinery/ore issues in the skylab as it was the time I had taken a small break from Dark Orbit. There are some helpful threads in the Newbie's section of the forums for Skylab issues and as HelpMeHelpYou has on his signature there is the FAQ' Index for Skylab FAQ's and related threads.

We ask if you the Original Poster are still experiencing this issue?

  7. Only sure way to know what is going on is to look at it but as he has not put his server and ID the mods can't do that.

  8. OP has not even given any further information as requested.

  9. Its normal. Someone starts a thread and then forgets to come back and talk to us more.

  10. I got the problem fixed, my promerium refinery is working at 49%. Just wondering, is it normally supposed to be working at 100%?

  11. Well the question we have is what level are all the different parts at. If it is at a higher level than the refineries that supply it, you will never be at 100%

  12. IF Duranium and Prometid are not working at the same level as the Promerium it will never work at 100%. The 2 stated refineries need to be working at the same level or higher to get the Promerium to be 100%. They also need the collectors to be at a level higher or same to maintain them working at 100%.

Until YOU decide to tell us WHAT LEVELS the Components of your SkyLab are sitting at we can not assist you.

  13. My Prometium, Endurium, and Terbium collectors are all level 10. My Solar Module is level 12. My Prometid and Duranium refineries are both level 8. My Promerium refinery is level 9, and my Seprom refinery is level 8.

  14. And that is the problem, your Promerium is a higher level than your Prometid and Duranium.

  15. To correct the current issue start the Promerium build NOW and do both the Duranium and Prometid refineries. IF you have enough collected ores start the collectors to build again. As soon as the Duranium and Prometid come up start them again. Depending on the quantity of collected ores you may want to BUY credit robots and run them for 2 days to create an excess of these for future usage. If the Seprom is NOT building then make sure you turn it OFF or you will lose your stock pile of Promerium.

The best process for upgrading the SkyLab is the Base Module 1 level higher than everything else, the Solar, Storage, and Collectors same level or building together. Prometid and Duranium 1-2 (2 is best) levels behind the Collectors, Promerium 1 level behind Prometid and Duranium, Xeno at leasdt the same level as Promerium, and Seprom building as long as you are not needing it for Shields. IF you have adhered to this process you could take the entire SkyLab down and have it all come up at one time without missing a single step.

Once the SkyLab is set, as stated above, you could start the Basic as soon as the Collected Ores allow it, take the Storage and Solar up at the same time (again when Ores allow), Seprom needs to be building or turned OFF (until you need this ore), Xeno can be started any time Promerium is not producing (some levels you can do twice), watching the timer on Promerium build start Prometid and Duranium to end at the same time, then start the collectors to end at the same time as the Refineries. If you choose to run Prometid and Duranium 1 level behind Collectors you may need to buy the Credit Robots to expedite the collection of the ores (this is only needed if you find you do not have enough ores to bring all 3 collectors up to coincide with the refineries coming back online all together. This process will work until you get to level 15 (Promerium) after this the time required to build this refinery is too long to keep doing the cycle. Continue building the rest of the SkyLab and take the Promerium up as long as you have the ore to transport for needed credits while it is down.

  16. Ok, thanks for the info! I guess my problem is fixed. Thanks for the help, guys
