  1. Galaxy Gate Alpha
    [IMG]

Galaxy gate Alpha is the first of the original galaxy gates that was introduced in classic DarkOrbit. It requires 34 parts to construct and is one 3 gates (Beta and Gamma) that share a generator. If you spin for any of those 3 gates, you have a chance to get parts for Alpha. Alpha is considered one of the easiest Galaxy gates but can be quite time consuming for newer players.

Aliens in this gate can be found on regular maps. However, here they are on mass, and it's only you vs them. Luckily they are only at regular strength so you know what you're going up against. What you will encounter is as follows.

    NPC Wave

    1. 40 Streuners
    2. 40 Lordakias
    3. 40 Mordons
    4. 80 Saimons
    5. 20 Devolariums
    6. 80 Kristallins
    7. 20 Sibelons
    8. 80 Sibelonits
    9. 16 Kristallons
    10. 30 Protegits
All enemies are at regular strength and give regular rewards.
Once you complete all 10 waves, you will be given some great rewards.

    Galaxy Gate Beta
    [IMG]
Galaxy gate Beta is the second of the original galaxy gates that was introduced in classic DarkOrbit. It requires 48 parts to construct and is one 3 gates (Alpha and Gamma) that share a generator. If you spin for any of those 3 gates, you have a chance to get parts for Beta. Beta is considered to be of fairly average difficulty and should probably only be attempted by sub-FE or FE players.

Aliens in this gate can be found on regular maps. However, here they are on mass, and it's only you vs them, just like Alpha. However, since Alpha, The aliens here have upgraded... massively. Every alien in this gate has x2 stats, which means they deal double damage, have double health and double shields to thier Alpha (regular) counterparts. This also however means double rewards. What you will encounter is as follows.

    NPC Wave

      1. 40 Streuners (X2)
      2. 40 Lordakias (X2)
      3. 40 Mordons (X2)

Galaxy gate Gamma is the third of the original galaxy gates that was introduced in classic DarkOrbit. However, since Beta, The aliens here have upgraded... massively, one final time. Every alien in this gate has x3 stats, which means they deal triple damage, have triple health and triple shields to their Alpha (normal) counterparts. This also however means triple rewards. Hello Spykid[HΛŁΘ],

Have moved your thread to Newbies section. Nice FAQ' and we appreciate your time and effort to write this up. While we do have an Alpha FAQ' we ask if we could incorporate your findings into our own FAQ'? We'll add a "special thanks" to you for your effort.

It would be nice to have the same FAQ's for the rest of the gates so we will be able to check everything it gives in the same place

  5. yeah, I'm gonna carry on working on this over the next week or so to all the gates that need updating :)

    Hiya,

Spoilers would be ok, or if you are comfortable with us deleting your previous posts(which have been implemented) to make the thread a bit shorter for those who like to peek in here.

Don't forget that Schism also drops from every gate during Obsidian booty days as well.

So that's Obsidian, Apocalypse and Red & Blue booty days that Schism drops from every gate.

  11. Nice work, you could also add the total uridium from all the NPCs in the gates if you just have those data :)

  12. Yeah, ill probably add that, I need to do some research into it first :) I have the weekend to do some work

  13. @Deter Done Beta (sorry for double post)

Seems my project has been made redundant by »ØPŦ‡MU§_K‡ŁŁ_§[23]« . You could have at least changed the wording and format haha. I know the FAQs have been updated with his version of things, but i'm gonna continue to craft this thread into the most comprehensive, informative and user friendly guide I can possibly create

  14. I see you did for Alpha gate and than stop, I had time and finish it. Some gates are still not done like kuiper, kronos, lambda, I don't do it so often so can't really say about them. There is a still space for NPC specification as drop of scrap and other ore to implement in FAQ of gate there is no real reson to do it. FAQ NPC-Pirate map miss Uber NPC in it, in FAQ Special npc can be added viral kristallon, gyga, overlord and in normal NPC blaighter kristallon, kristallin, gyga since they are now part of the game.

Would be nice if you can do some of that.

has someone done a chormin and crafting guide, tips

i got 720 chromin in epsilon, is it the same each time and gate. does i need to save up all 5 gates.

is the 15000 ship the smallest item, anything less just used for honor points
what ores can be made with chormin.

  16. so far i havent done enough reteach into chromin, however as this thread has been revived, i did add gamma and im gonna work on delta now

Edit: Delta is up but theres a few incorrect references to beta as i used beta as the template, the forum wont let me correct these atm, not sure why but im working on it. Episilon on its way

  17. How hard should I be hitting before deciding to take on the GGs? (with x1 ammo) what ammo do people normally find worthwhile while completing the gates?

  18. x1 ammo will do fine, people tend to take their time finishing their galaxy gates, there's no rush on doing any of them so its fine if you deal a minimum of 4k-5k laser damage, but as much as possible you should be able to deal 8k tops with your current setup.

I suggest you upgrade your laser rounds with prometheum in the refinery to better give you a damage boost.

  19. i do all my gates with x1 its not hard to do some time more needed run and hit :)
