    DarkOrbit has a lot of issues, they are called bugs. Think back for a second 2015 september. That was create and moving game with surprising events and tasks(Control over the game). Nowadays the game have delays, Galaxy Gate clicking needs 10s restore time to click once again, more serious problem is with game itself. That have ship bugs what makes newer ones more resistance, as example Cyborg somehow deals higher damage output than Surgeon ether when Surgeon is 6% 15lasers and Cyborg 16lasers 5% damage. Configuration has 1second click delay also game isn't smooth anymore.

    What happened with 2years that server have changed so much worse. In my mind are problem on Events and Upgrades. Thous two are important to lead game into future but they must be worked out with no excuse and mistake, what i have seen is problems with each new upgrade/event. Also if there are some fixing task after problem found i think repaired part is 60/100% that means there remains 40% issues with each new upgrade/event add. Thous adds have accumulated with time until there were too much issues all at once. Small problems made bigger one, that harmed system itself and we will see things like delays and server run outs. Fixing thous are not solving issue what are creating problem itself, so we repair nonsense because cast issue isn't demolished.

    I make offer to create new event!
    It will be named ZeroEvent
    Event contains absolute nothing only text/information itself.
    The ZeroEvent is cover for a program hided into it.
    Main time when the event is released all 2years of DarkOrbit will be deleted/withdrawn. That contains 1)Hangar - new hangar will be gone old hangar system will be added back (Ships Surgeon and Pusat was created before that time and they have different equipment space than ordinary goliath and vengeance, so they will be individual ships.) 2)Created ships - desings since 2015 July - 2017 July will be gone from the game, people who had them will just lose thous maybe gonna get some refund calculated on uridium. 3)Lasers - New lf-4 upgrade lasers will be withdrawn, players who had thous will get lf-4s level16. 4)Events - Same period events must be deleted from the game. That contains new gates, missions, and all other details that event did released. Example: Marsque event brought craft bootys. 5)Assambly - That new feature and all that contains will be gone. 6)Specific days - Days like Double Reward Day/weekend, Special Reward Day/weekend, Prime Time will be gone(days that were before Zeus/Apis, Happy Hour, Mega Happy Hour... remains).

    All that will be gone same time that event release. Event lasts as long as needed (1-2months) while it is active server will be tested to see what have happened with bugs also remaining bugs will be fixed. Then all that out sorted stuff will be supervised to think what should be added back. On the time event lasts all that will be added back are on testing that same thing could not happen again.(means UPGRADE goes as faultless or it doesn't)

    I also have a lot of ideas what to do with that game gonna wait respond to that message lets see what we can do and were we can go with that. Also i think server merge should be stoped and that event should be done first to get game under control and if we add my ideas of balance, newbies and events, maybe merge isn't needed because servers can have a lot new starters. (merge can but all issues into new server that means dupe right now delays, that could mean game death for ... time.

    Well its a good idea but i think that even without any kind of bug or lag the game still wont atract new players nor be #GreatAgain as long as it is a farming game rather than a pve/pvp one o_O.
     
  3. I don't think that it would work. DO needs money, if you reset everything, there would be no further goal for the banking Ufe players. And maybe they couldn't pay the employees anymore.
     
  4. Its a good idea putting new wine in a dirty vessel just make the wine dirty clean the slate. The gane is a farming game it is design to be played for long time before you can be competitive. So let us farm on a good quality foundation and not the excuse ridden garbage that we are force to play on now

    Thx for feedback and i will make quick answers. Worries about game isn't attractive - ZeroEvent is just the beginning of changes that will become, but ZeroEvent must be done because upgrades in my mind must go online after server is clean.
    -DarkOrbit will gain upgrades against rank farmers by gates.
    Firstly gate is fighting against Npc so all gate honor rewards will be divided with 2. Gates will get reduce points to hold people on ordinary maps(such as after 5th gate the rewards will be reduced 50% except ammo and special gate rewards such as Havoc drop their gain will be increased 10-25%(not sure yet) - counter will be restarted every day.)
    That all helps people get items to head into battlefield faster, but it isn't all.
    New Adds for the game after ZeroEvent.
    Game will get new main event map what will be released month over month, means July(event) August(no event) September(same event starts again). That event contains a lot of honor and it is generally a battlefield made for clan play to share your talents with others. Even that isn't all, first time in history game will get abrox to help weak newbies. Also starters will see special map for them. Questline will be rebuild now they will give missions to help you learn and challenge you (example: Mission commands you to click once on minimap if you will stop you must kill 100 units that come to you. You can't move or die. That teach newbies to use all they have.) Also quests will give good experience amount and also uridium, but EP reward will be gained by difficulty of task not only by level itself - that means time quests will gain extra experience.
    That is a lot but not the end of news - to move players more in PvP and also solve nowadays problem about strong co-op against starters, then Top 10 clans what we can see on homepage will have forever war called by game, that can't be declined, but as i know players have chats and they will say we don't attack each others never mind that war - so if war players will get together and there are no fighting action in 3s the game will release 30k damage by space. Range will be great because 3 seconds is enough to see red point on minimap and start fight. That should spoils server leaders to co-op as different clans against weaker ones. Now you say that they will be whitout clan and co-op anyway. And i say MAIN event is most rare thing in game and whitout clan you can't take a part of it. Also to stop jumping out and into clan main event wants that you have been clan 1month ago other way your clan can win the event but that who wasn't into clan 30days before the event did begin cannot gain rewards and he can't go into that map.
    I think that was enough for now, i won't tell all what i have in mind ... yet
    -Someone was thinking about issue into banking, here is result - if game is broken that isn't enjoyable so fewer players will pay, if game is working well and having new upgrades as i released some of them, that gains a lot newbies who will start banking soon because feedback by other players by game and maps will be amazing.

  6. This looks like you have ripped off the idea of the 2010 server thought and just removed the NEW stuff from the current servers. This is not solving the issues;

    1. Flash Player is obsolete - game needs to be moved out of FLASH base game
    2. Original game language and current programming languages are incompatible so the ORIGINAL needs updated
    3. Many of the updates have been good for game but CHANCE was/IS the problem REMOVAL of CHANCE is needed not the changes
    4. WARS are the biggest issue as it allows same Company players to attack each other (not a good morale thing)
    5. Multi-Company Clans/Alliances are major issue and need to be addressed
    6. Changes to the game are needed, to keep interest, but they should be something to be looked forward to NOT Surprises (like popular console games get annual upgrades) these are fully tested and work without any issues
    7. Game needs to progress out of BROWSER based game and become a DOWNLOADED access point to a server platform removing the individual computer from the game play (we are terminals not processors), thus giving everyone the same game experience
    8. Gates are good but the need for 11 is out of place, 5/day would still have too many people only playing the Gate Game instead of being in the maps helping the NEW/weak players against attack
    9. Clans MUST have low level players in them also, not just UFE gate bashers, these were designed for friends to help friends and also help teach the game to NEW people
    Removal of items is not the issue that needs to be addressed. We do need to have updates/changes STOPPED until we have a stable base game, including all missions working properly. We need to make rewards based on difficulty not repetition (double gates rewards just promotes gate bashing not game play).

    Make suggestions to correct the issues I bring up and you might get some of the OLD FE+ players to return to the game, but if these are not addressed this game is going to become a game of UFE Gate Bashers and the maps can be eliminated as no one will be using them for anything because there will be no one in them except the bored UFE player looking for the unaware NEW visitor to the game, or botters trying to get FREE gate spins with their doubler advantage to continue to build gates for them to play again.

    Sry but you talk too much and out of content.
    I didn't told anything about Cilent mode yet, ofc that must be done to run game better, but blaming browser and flash isn't right. Flash is problem, but problem of freezes not delays, delays is notification about there is sth serious going on. THAT wasn't here 2years ago so problem remains on nonfixed updates. Also i have been talking that game need fresh system sth new what have been never seen, the game offers us ships and ONLY GROWING POWER and that creates GG pushers. Also you say 5 gates before reduction is too meny, but gate honorreward is already divided with 2 after 5th gate the same thing happens once more. Help weak ones shooting?? New questline has quests for newbies that they can handle except group tasks the quests give them items lf-4s lf-3s, some havocs, hercules. Also at really beginning they aren't on ordinary map because they have own map to get start needs even more new add abrox will defend them from the harm if they are too weak. It will be calculated by damage output 3of4 100k/25k and abroxion will decrease 50% of incoming damage.
    I have thinking into balance in every way. Game will be headed into new world it is more attractive than ever before. About that you think big clans should have weak ones as well. True is that they have. And with war programm UFE players in some clans will be top of leaderboard so they are WARS to each others THAT MEANS 30k dam per second if they do not shoot each others in 3 second, Bursting hades will be used 5 gates and 5 only cuz start reward is 50k not 100k it can be boosted but after 5th gate reward is 25k that isn't worth for ANY KIND OF GATE PLAYER to gain rank. Going into moral thing Eic-Eic shoot - that can be chanced with upg "New Day In Unions" that one clan can be only by one company players, if Top 10 has 2 same company clans they will have WAR that isn't moral issue anymore cuz 2TOPS means 2top clan hunt others so war against them will be necessary to clean maps.
    Upgrades done 2y - today isn't all good! +they are few tested, result is on your hand. Game overloads flash-flash outruns players Phyca memory (RAM) and game start freezing. DarkOrbit is under OVERLOAD and bug stacks what have made delays. I remain into that ZeroEvent should be released and remaining server errors must be fixed and then my ideas should be involved to the game. As final result game will be downloaded as Cilent one because it is fully corrected and checked to go into download.

    If 2010 was same idea what had no result, i m gonna tell I DIDN'T saw row upgrades on 2010 .... There wasn't bugs what could outrun the server. There was only small issue that why time leap didn't help them.

    Sorry guys but u still miss the point that:
    Ufe is overpowered like heck and they can shoot who ever they want, even if it is a droneless liberator, an that geting said ufe gear takes 3 years of playing 8 hours /day doing horrendously boring things if u are a free player. Thats why players bot, so they can get this equipment fast an go pvp. Nobody likes games were u have to farm for eons to have fun later. Also there is the problem that players cant shoose when to pve and when to pvp.
    They wont come back even if there is no lag, bugs, or bots they left because of ufe gear and wont come back as long as it remains here. They want the darkorbit were almost any ship was good to pvp were the max level (FE ship) was not overpowered like hell and didnt toke so much time to get and were gameplay was about mantaining your ammo and rocks stock pile to go to pvp afterwards. Yes! games dont need retarded overpowered equipment that takes forever to get to keep players ocupied, events and the need to mantain your ammo was more then enouth.
    Anyway if lag and bugs are your maine consern i sujest u try ge1 out. Hangar there works like a charm, nothing like the gb2 one.

    Sumsar7 , i dont think nerfing gates is a good idea. The time needed to get to ufe is already ridiculous, what u propose wouldnt bring players to the maps. Besides i would rather keep the ufes on the gates instead of in the maps sabotaging everyones gameplay.
    I do like your idea about the power matching but with some tweaking.
    In my opinion they should had some pve maps and make uba and refrations actualy match u with players with similar gear.

    About nerfing gates. You think that it is already hard to farm and get equipment. Actually i think that results i suggest is making farming easyer and faster that people does not need to farm years. New Questline gives nice start with 5 lf-4s and 10lf-3 also people learn how to use everything that game have. Also quests are filled with uridium what supposed to help buy and upgrade your gear. Gates will get nerf from rankfarm Honor and EP will be divided with 2 as i said before. The new thing about after 5th gate should actually help people get needed gear for gameplay. That has 2 sides, if you farm on gates after 5th gate your gain on honor and experience will be reduced 50% but ammo and special rewards like Havoc/Hercules gain is increased 10-25% that actually means if people make a lot a,b,g in reason to get equipment then it is well doneable. Now if you gain extra ammo you can use it wisely and double your farming even more. That all helps people to grow and they will be soon ready to head into battlefield and once they have equipment to face others.
    2) pve map are created for Newbies that map faces them first time into DO wonderland. They will get fully handed tasks to do. They will learn what are aliens and other ships, also tehnic of game will be learned there ammo, rockets, defend systems and ships with it advantages and risks. That map is prepare for a player who doesn't know anything yet. Also they will be farming there for some time. Aliens on that map will give a lot Experience and uridium. How long they will be there is calculated by Experience - if they catch the limit the space will draw them to the real gamemap 2-1/1-1/3-1. And quests will help him learn more and farm at start.
    3)Games like refraction and UBA. These are games used to get some group fight skills and solo fight skills. In my hand i can tell you skills learned from UBA are useless from real DO maps and refraction is fun but you should grab your clan with you or the dead comes fast.
    I was thinking to make new map it will be called CreatorsChoice. That will be clan based game.
    I m gonna write long story about that map and activities what can be done there, but not today. Actually i want that ZeroEvent will be released and game finally checked to flawless and then we can make that huge game. That game will be DarkOrbit Main Event with great rewards and i feel that will be some fun also. Gonna write details tomorrow if i have enough time - it is couple hours writing.

    I don't want old [removed] to come back to play i want fresh blood into game, something to give future for the game.
    Old accounts what haven't logged in around 60days should be deleted to get real player number and get rid of standing space.

    Main Event For DarkOrbit.

    CreatorsChoice

    It is new map what has portal entry on 2-1 map inside base.
    Map is opened month over month.
    Map is filled with 30 modes what look pretty same as loW gate shooting points/opening stations.
    Modes is filled with 1million shooting reach. If one clan have made 1million damage that will deform to CBS.
    The event is mean for clan game.

    Conditions

    To entry into that map clan need to pay 100 000 uridium. (now clans have chance to collect uridium into clan*)
    Gate can be activated if player with CreatorsChoice rights jumps into map. (That will be new rank add inside the clan)
    Player must be registered into clan 31 days before event starts, if he was there 30 days before and event starts he can't jump into that map even if 31 days are filled. He is out of event and does not gain any rewards.
    Clan who won last event cannot take part of next event, but they can take part of event after next one.

    How does it work?

    If player with rights jumps into map each player into that clan has 1 life. (Until they don't have CBS)
    If clan has 50 players and only 20 is online and they went into that map and all of them die 5 minutes countdown starts. If non of them doesn't jump into map in 5 minutes map will show bold clan name with notification eliminated. [???] Question In Space is eliminated!! If clan wants to try again they must pay 100 000 uridium again and they are ready to go.*
    All clans is identified by clan name. (There are no player name, if you get killed you see clan who killed you)

    Clan Battle Station how i can use it?


    After 1million damage is outshowed by clan the CBS spawn and it has 30 minutes protect time. Defendtime gain is 1minut=3minutes
    Spawned CBS has 1million hp/shield on middle and 500 000 Hitpoints/Shield on modules.*
    CBS defending modules will be all lasers they have 80 000 damage/per laser*
    Laser shooting rate is shoot per second and it has IceInCritics ability to slow down unit speed by 30% for 0.5s
    Each module have passive ability FortressStands that makes 10% damage absorb on station doom if 8 modules around base lives it makes 80% damage reduction for station. (20 000 damage of 100 000 will pass)
    Around CBS is deflecting area what disables cloak.*


    What i do next?


    It is change to increase your station defending time and stronghold, but also you can conquer new ones.
    If there are any free modes left you can go, show 1mln output and new station spawn. /---/
    After first defend time (30 minutes) clan has chance to activate base again with 12% Hp/Shield gain per hour or they can choose which kind of station they want and defend base with 6% hp/shield gain per hour.* (time to defend is 30minutes - 2hours)

    Got third base.


    If clan has 3 bases the first will deform into main station.*

    Giving an ability to CBS?

    After first station you have always chance to give some kind of purpose. Your clan can choose between Shield/Hitpoint/Damage/moth/static.
    Shield Station give shield for clan players who are close. 25 000 per second non limited amount of players. Has ShieldTime ability that gives 200 000 shield per second for CBS that is under attack lasts 5 seconds, reload 10 minutes.
    Hitpoints Station give hp for clan players who are close. 40 000 hp per second non limited amount of players. Has HitpointsTime ability what gives 100 000 hp per second for space that is under attack lasts 5 seconds, reload time 10 minutes.
    Damage Station has ability to increase modules damage by 50% for 5 seconds reload time 3 minutes. Has ability to decrease enemy damage 50% for 5 seconds, if it is in CBS range. Reload 5 minutes.
    Moth Station has ability to increase enemy shield penetration for 5 seconds 20%. Has EatNow ability that increases modules pass shield 20% for 5 seconds, cooldown 10 minutes.(laser module shoots more into Hp)
    Static Station has ability to make laser shoots heavy critics into ships that makes issue into shooting gallery, player has 50% laser miss rate for 1 second after module shot. Each module have 5 hits and 1 minute to use them. Reload 15 minutes.
    Overload Station has ability to make lasers shoot whit out range and lower targets. People who have entered to station range, lost their hp and escape now are the targets. Lasers have 20% miss rate but non limited range for 3 seconds. Cooldown 15 minutes.

    Main Station. Strategy homecall!!!

    If clan has 3 or more bases the first one is main station. Main station has no modules to defend itself, but it have 8 abilitys do help defend all complex + one extra feature.
    Each module place means one ability.(if module dies ability die with it)
    High Seek Rocket - special feature that CBS has to defend. If enemy clan member arrives to the CBS range the rocket will launch moving with some speed(means rocket need time to reach on player) damage deal is 200 000 - 400 000, reload is 3 minutes.
    I am venomancer - if there is 3 or more enemy players close to the CBS (any of same clan CBS-es) Blow effect will be added on their ships damage increase is 5 000 per second start damage on 30 000. Lasts 30 seconds. Can be removed with EMP charge. Cooldown 20 minutes.
    Demolish them! - if there are 3 or more enemy players close to the CBS (any of same clan CBS-es) Damage into shield will be increased.(works like Diminisher ability) Ability increase 75% of incoming damage but all the damage will go into shield features like moth doesn't make damage go into Hp. Ability lasts 10 seconds. Cannot be removed once it is online. Cooldown 15 minutes.
    Time to wake up! - If 3 or more enemy players are close to the Station they will be freezed for 2 seconds. They can't use any CPUs or other features.
    They are after you! - If some of CBS owner clan drops on 20% hp that feature increases player speed 11% for 3 seconds. Reload 1 minutes.
    Charge them with death! - If CBS owner clan player drops to death that will charge hes death with 150 000 damage that nearest enemys will gain. Reload 5 minutes. Works only if player is on CBS range.
    No spere - Makes One Module have 3 targets. Lasts 10 seconds. Cooldown 25 minutes. Ability starts if there are 6 or more players on CBS range.
    No ability in my home! - Someone of enemy use any kind of ability CBS blows static field what breaks ability, also that forbidden all abilitys for 30 seconds! Works for everyone.(no one can use ability on 30s) Cooldown 10 minutes.
    Speed up a while - If enemy clan are attacking station it speed up modules attack speed with 30% for 5 seconds. Cooldown 15 minutes.


    My station blast off!

    If CBS explode the clan the mode respawn and needs 1mln damage once again, clan who just lost it can reclaim it with 500k damage input, but they have that opportunity for 1 minute. (if 2 clans shoot same mode damage subtracted and one who deals more that one accumulates and if needed damage is done CBS spawns)

    Co-operative behaviour.

    In that map each clan fight for himself. Alliance or Non Attacking Pact does not work on the map. To secure it is that way. In the map is installed system what does 50 000 damage/per second if 2 different clan meets and there are no shooting activity in 3 seconds.

    Amazing adds!


    Clan leader has green bubble around him that bubble shows 5 000 hp repair per second for players on hes clan who are close to him even under attack. Also there are shield recover what improves close mates recover they're shield 20% faster. Each friendly ship on leader range make damage reduction on leader 5% per player, reduction can grow only until 50% and cannot go higher. Works only if players are visible. (cloak will delete reduction gain)


    Cloak gain 10% flying speed if no one shoots.
    EMP will make 20% laser miss rate for 3 seconds if it is launched. Works on each ship that was on range including caster itself.


    10 days remaining.

    After 20 days from event start all non station incoming clans have double laser damage. Also each player have 2 lives. After death they will spawn again on map portal (in the middle of the map) charged with full Hp and Shield.
    Grouping up is now allowed. 2 clans can attack one whitout getting automatic damage. Feature stands if 2 clans have less stations than the one they attack. (Ex: clans have 3 station and target has 5.)

    End of the event!

    If the event ends there are passive and extra rewards also personal rewards.
    Winning clan is clan who has most station time (Sum of all station holds, lost stations carry time is also added)
    PASSIVE - granted for each player on that clan if he have filled the terms at the end of extra gain subject.

    1 000 000 Uridium
    100 000 000 Honor
    1 000 000 000 Experience

    2nd Place!

    500 000 Uridium
    50 000 000 Honor
    500 000 000 Experience

    3th Place!
    250 000 Uridium
    25 000 000 Honor

    Extra Gain.
    Clan
    Each station kill will gain rewards for clan 10 000 Honor, 1 000 000 experience they will be gained immediately after station fall. After event there is extra price 10 000 Uridium, 30 000 Honor, 3 000 000 Experience per station kill.
    Each CBS that clan has is 100 000 Uridium, 1 000 000 Honor 10 000 000 Experience
    CBS carryed time will be award following rewards:
    2 Uridium per minute
    4 Honor per minute
    5 Experience per minute
    (Passive)
    Defended time will be awarded:
    4 Uridium per minute
    8 Honor per minute
    10 Experience per minute
    Remaining defend time will be calculated:
    1 Uridium per minute
    2 Honor per minute
    2.5 Experience per minute
    Example one event last 30 days = 43 200 minutes. You have defended station 20 160 minutes = 14 days, means you have gain 60 480 defend minutes for the end of event you have 37 440 minutes remaining. You will get rewards: 204 480 Uridium, 408 960 Honor, 511 200 Experience

    Solo
    Each ship kill will give ordinary reward as in normal map but it is counted as shooted ship also.
    Each ship that is killed will give extra reward 1 000 Uridium, 5 000 Honor, 100 000 Experience

    Killing clan leader will award double reward form kill and extra rewards on event end: 3 000 Uridium, 15 000 Honor, 300 000 Experience.
    Time you have spent on map is awarded: 10 uridium-, 20 honor-, 20 experience per minute.
    Player who haven't played inside the map longer than 3 000 minutes can't gain clan rewards. Also time must be gained each week some not just with 3 days in row. Player with 6 000 + minutes has 100% clan reward gain. Solo reward gain is 100%.


    Meaning of * - s
    *Going into map cost 100 000 uridium from clan cargo.
    *Clan will have new feature to collect uridium. Each week player can donate 1 - 10 000 uridium for a clan. Maximum amount that clan can carry is 500 000 uridium.
    *That Hp/Shield is starting feature and it starts to grow with protect time.
    *Laser modules will make 80 000 damage only on first event day!
    *Cloak will be deleted if you reach into CBS range. CBS now have deflecting area that is twice bigger than laser shoot range. Reaching into that area will delete cloak. Area is marked on map with small red buoys.
    *If station is online that will gain extra Hp and Shield means each defending will make station stronger. Bonus Hp and Shield points will be calculated with moment Hp/shield +gain ( You have 1 234 233 Hp 1 234 233 Shield on Station gain is 6% in hour you will set 2 hours defend time. After 2 hours you will have 1 382 341 Hp/Shield now. Next time you activate bonus will be scored with new number.
    *If clan has 3 CBS-s first one will be main station with more features to protect other stations and itself. Also main will gain damage reduction per CBS according 20% per station means if main spawn it always have 40% damage reduction while it is activated and other stations are alive. Main does not have laser modules anymore. That makes main easyer to hit, but abilitys can make it harder.
