[GI] botting... fixed

we all know botting has been an rising issue sense forever. but banning them from the game is one way to go threw with it. when another could be making a downloadable game client instead of browser for extra game security? so if they even attempt to bot the game. the game itself would not allow it due to the scripting. theres a lot of botters as of today I see on East 2. and most are 1 stars and 3 stars. mainly [REMOVED]... but banning them? that would kill the east 2 server quicker then splatting a fly. if you guys can find another way to filter out botting to make it so you just cant do it in general. then instead of pointing the finger at people for doing it. you can save many players and money that they could be spending. so instead of gunning for the whole; lets ban all botters, gun for the whole making the game unbottable. where theres a downloadable game that has bot-firewall as you could say.

As long as there are reasons to bot, the guys who program them will always find a way to bypass whatever BP does to stop them. U see some bots are paid and i dont think their devs are going to give up any time soon. If, for some reason, u find a way to stop them without changing the p2w state of the game they will just quit and the game will be dead.

 

Then if that's the case either everyone should be allowed to do it if they choose without chance of being punished , or DO should be allowed to catch them and punish them when their caught. I was ok with them when they just were boxing this allowed players who can't afford to play to keep playing but now the bot's are killing aliens and making more than the players who spend money on the game and that is where the line must be drawn. The Dark Orbit team have already discussed that they may/will need dedicate some time to make the game a down-loadable client only after Server merges have been thoroughly discussed and released. There is much to do before they begin. As for the topic of Bots&Cheats this is not the appropriate place. We do have a Bots&Cheats thread located in Speakers corner. PLEASE read over a few post's before posting to prevent reiteration.
