[SC] Are BP going to put an end to multi company clans?

  2. IF they do it will be AFTER the Server Merges, but as you say "DOUBT IT". Their excuse is that they are concerned about the amount of people they will lose by making such a change with the limited populations they currently have. They have started addressing the issue with the MCC's and event rewards but that seems to be the only way they have found to address th issue.

    HMHY.. yeah I reckon its an easy fix, but its not the reason there's an option to war.Very pitiful if a clan needs to be multicomp to try and win a war or to just see themselves no1 in clan ranks

  5. WAR is the way SAME Company Clans deal with the issue of not being Multi Company Clan. The major reason for the MCC is so they can have a SPY find a target in their maps and assist their clan mate in killing them without having to declare WAR on them, they can also attack non clanned players who can not be warred.

    I just hope they continue to implement penalties against the newly formed clans and MCC clans when issuing Event Rewards as I have seen too many temporary clans made so they could dominate an event with really nice Clan assigned rewards.

Major reson for MCC is because people play this game for so long, at one point two friends was change company so both can get general on same server, also MCC became after one of clan from same company start speak in chat bad word and you sent him war. In past you used to be able during battle leave clan and player you fight with will get minus honor, for prevent that you was call your friend from other company to start shoot first so you don't lose honor. There at much more reson behind why there is so much MCC than you just bully one player or win event. Personally I will always put friendship over company. MCC I see as group of friends who play togeather and I see nothing wrong in that.

    I'm part of MCC, we are 33 in clan rank 3, but only around 8-10 play on daily base, we are group of friends who still play after 6 years, we are 3 different company but reson for that was rank, player get banned and start play again on other company - I not gonna turn back on him just couse he isn't my company anymore, I like that people, I like to play with that people, they help me in past, its all about history which connect that people why mostly MCC exist.
     
  7. That's why there are things like alliances in the game, but why have an alliance when you can just let them in the clan. What i find funny about MCC is that during an event those members that are not the same company as the clan are helping that clan gain clan point's to win so now eic and vru are helping mmo make points for their company which makes that Event flawed. Same works for other company's, so if they are gonna keep bringing out event's like they have in the past they should do away with company payout's and just keep the player wins. Enjoy

Take for example domination event, company reward was up to 15% exp and honor, thats not important reward for pvp part of game, also my clan was first, affiliation is vru but we have mmo and eic players as well, we didn't focus on company bonus, we been doing personal rank and rotate mmo/eic/vru control so all clan members can get 5% discount in shop, what actually help all players from server because during day you will have several times discount doesn't metter what company you are, in that case MCC is actually good because if clan is all vru and you are new players from eic or mmo event for you is compleatly useless.

  10. You are the only MCC that I have run across that is trying to HELP circumvent the D O plan with MCC for the better of the player, usually it is for the purpose of violating the NEGATIVE Honor of attacking same Company Player just to make a ship kill.

    I still say that MCC is BAD for D O and needs to be removed from the game altogether, Alliances between Companies is the ONLY way that these players should be able to circumvent the enemy Company relations.

MCC is what happen to old servers, this happen because your friend change company in past for rank, get ban or start play again on other server, you will not push him away just couse he is other company he is your friend and you had good moments in past on same company, other member got another friend with same situation and thats how you get MCC clan, you will not accept other company player just couse u wanna win event, why would u help some random guy ?
    In that case following my comment above you will have many 1 man clan what is hard to coordinate so you can have same war and alliances.

    Just a heads up, Bigpoint/DarkOrbit/Support have no control over how clans decide to manage their diplomacy status. They can however introduce events or diversions to help bring back the Company loyalty, which sounds like a great post for the Update&Idea Pool.

    Don't normally close threads in here. This is not the first nor will it be the last thread regarding MCC, but please remember all threads are moderated.
     
  13. MCC or not wont matter cause they will just ally with each other then you will be back in the same boat
     
  14. What I have seen is many ALLIANCES between clans formed because they are friends playing in different Companies. IF there are many friends that have changed companies they usually migrate to the same clan, eventually, therefore you would not have very many clans to have to Alliance with to maintain the Friends playing together.

  16. You can't expect high rank play to change company, he been playing for that rank and lose it just because of clan is not option. I been leader of big clan and part of big alliance of like 6 clans you have not idea how hard is keep it stable and have diplomaty couse of language bariers and personal issues between some players, the hardest is if you have same wars and 2 alliance wanna fight each other couse of 2 people, to prevent it MCC is better option. Small players have problem couse they die what should be part of game but UFE players got other problems much bigger which you don't see and they don't speak about.
    Its easier to control players in MCC with 50 ppl than 5 clans with 10 people.

    Even i'm vru I more like when ball go on MMO because there is no radiation around and its much easier to click cloacked people.
     
  17. Not really alliances just one group of close friends who trys to fight company which is fun cause gives everyone something to do

  19. multi company clans suck it defeats the very esscence of the game which is to protect your company and players and attack the other companies lets say your in spaceball theres a mmo ship but he is in a vru clan do you shoot or not event spoiled straight away you dont shoot turn your back and he shoots do you declare war its completely stupid all it seems is that the so called good players dont want to face each other in battle but they dont want to lose honour by moving comapnies to play with there mates so dark orbit obliged them to the detrament of the game and the rest of the players that is a fact and anybody who cant see that well we wtill just have to agree to disagree
     
  20. I would not have problem move to same company as friends if i don't lose honor
