[TI] Auto-Cancelling attacks -IMPOSSIBLE PLAY-

This is Day 2 (since reset) that I have not been able to play because every time I attack, my attack gets cancelled.
I am using Google Chrome and I have reset the Cache, cookies, everything except browsing history and saved logins. To No avail. Chrome is also Up to date.
I tried restarting the computer with no effect. I even tried setting the game to 2D mode after resetting the interface and hotkeys AGAIN and I still cannot shoot anything.

I have well over 100,000 rounds of ammunition on my x1s and I still cannot fire.



The first thing I noticed was my hotkeys randomly went "Undefined" so I reset them. It worked for several hours after that until I logged back in and suddenly all my attacks get AUTO CANCELLED.
Everything else seems to work fine. I dont know what the problem is I just want to be able to do the daily missions and further my ship.

So I uninstalled Google Chrome and created an entire new login account on this computer, and than proceeded to reinstall chrome. I logged in again, to no avail. My lasers still failed me.


The next thing I did was reset the hotkeys, and than the interface, and opt into the 2-D mode hoping that would do something. Still nothing.
I cant manually shoot my lasers at all. I cant even fire rockets!

Than, something big happened. I switched to my 100% basic goli, just the grey one, and threw on a few of the newer NPC lasers and ALL OF A SUDDEN I COULD SHOOT!
So I quickly hit the transfer config button and switched everything to my Flame goli, the one with the damage booster (I think?) and I fly out to see if its working, and NOTHING! Auto Cancelling AGAIN.

and JUST for the record, I was not able to shoot another player either. I tried and It did not work. Same deal. And shooting does not decloak me.

The next thing IM going to try is taking everything out of my configs, both of them, everything from drones, pet, extras, EVERYTHING, and start with just a few NPC lasers and than if they work, go from there and see what happens.

So I Unequipped everything and reequipped everything and ALL SEEMS TO BE WORKING.
The only thing I havent dont yet is log out and log back in to make sure all will Still be working.

The other thing is, I dont know how to put my herc designs back on? They don't appear to be in my inventory until I pull out the inventory tab and than there they are clear as day....

Everything is working, my hercs were hiding in another config, no other problems have presented but it was the oddest thing I had to un-equip everything and than re-equip everything.

So my lasers arn't working AGAIN after switching to a ship that was not starred in my hanger, that is equipped with its on generators and lasers, back to my venom, which is starred in my hangar.

All Of a sudden going back to my venom After spaceball on 9/26 my lasers wont shoot.
Taking everything off and putting it all back on again did NOT fix the problem this round.

INTERESTINGLY ENOUGH I noticed that when I switched from my venom to my Sentinal, which is also starred in my hangar, my lasers did not work after a system transfer, HOWEVER, when I switched from my Venom to my Bastion, which is NOT starred in my hangar It was working without problems.

THE BIGGEST THING I NOTICED in this round was that the problem seemed to be narrowed down to my auto rocket launcher, not to be confused with the auto hellstorm launcher, It seems when I turned off Auto Rocket Launcher and re-equipped my lasers, my lasers worked fine until I equipped the Auto Rocket Launcher
Than they would continue to automatically cancel. I could equip the chip and deactivate the chip and my lasers would work but as soon as I activated it, Auto Cancel.

After flying around For a few minutes I selected a rocket (because non was selected strangely enough) I wanted to fire by hand. I tried turning the Auto-Rocket-Launcher back on and BEHOLD! MY LASERS AND ROCKETS WERE WORKING AGAIN.

--------------------------------THE SOLUTION----------------------------------------

If you login or change ships and are having trouble with your lasers working, make sure you have a rocket type selected, because if you don't have a rocket type selected and auto rockets is turned on, you're going to run into auto-cancelling laser volleys until this bug is fixed.

 

Questions I wonder is what server and where are you when this happens?

 

Do you have lasers on both configs? Ship and drones

Both configs have all lf3 lasers on ship, and than one config has all shields on drones and the other has all lasers on drones. PLENTY OF AMMO too...

Want to get a bit more info regarding this issue. Do you all experience this issue suddenly? Like out of no where? Or does it occur after spamming the hotkeys?

 

It was sudden, the first thing I noticed was my hotkeys went dead at random. So i reset the hotkeys using settings to reassign a key to everything 1 through 0 and than rebooted the game, and it worked great for at least an hour after that, than I signed back in at about 10pm (4-5 hours later after work) and it just, wasnt working

 

It also has continued, 3rd time it has done it was today at the time of this post. Additionally unequipping everything and re-equipping them in my hanger without testing it as I went seems to of NOT fixed the problem this round, however, when I re-equipped one laser after unequipping everything, it seemed to work, until I logged out, re-equipped everything, and than logged back into the gameplay, again, auto cancelling.

It is the oddest thing, I feel like the only person in the entire game running into a problem like this. I am TERRIFIED to switch ships, however, it was nice to isolate the Auto Rocket Launcher to be the creating the problem of the auto cancelling lasers, and it seems to me that when it was activated but no rocket was selected, my lasers would automatically cancel.
