[TI] help with drones plz!!!

I was in the process of repping my drones when i lagged out had 2 refresh page n when i respawn im popped along with my LVL 16 irises x((
if i wouldnt of lagged out i wouldve fully loggd out and been safe
SPENT alot of money on those drones lvling em
havent lost a drones since i first started in 08ish
I just want them bac at their dmg percent b4 they popped so i can rep them

You can try to ask them back from support, but most likely it won't happen. Pretty sadness though, there was a discussion about the new feature a month or two ago about system of the destruction of upgraded drones. Instead of destruction they are disabled, but haven't heard anything new about this either.

It's a big loss though, as it's minimum about 300k+ and if Apis + Zeus, it's around 450k at minimum. FeelsBadMan.

 

oh no... that sucks man.. i bet they wont give them to you back even though its their fault you lagged in the first place.

best to waste your time on something smarter than this game its going down.

its more than that.. with 100 percent upgrade its 104 k uri per drone x 16.
sooo 1.6 mill uri for the upgrades alone right.

 

If you send a ticket in and ask for the drones back they will give them back. If you however get another drone because you don't wait for support they will not be able to give you that one back. I have got my drones back before so i know chances are good. Good luck

 

First off, this is a support matter. No Mods or Admins can help here in the forums with your issue sad to say. What .†ι¢є_gяιмσιяє†. says is also quite important.

Let me show you from EXPERIENCE the importance of this CPU. (Drone Repair CPU 2) and to have it installed on BOTH configs ALWAYS. Never leave home without it.

I've been in this game since the beginning and you know, you'd think after I lost 8 iris the first time I'd be sure to have the CPU installed. But oh no, I didn't want to sacrifice a spot (other cpu).​

That set of iris where lost before upgrades came to the game. I replace the drones and then upgrading started so I brought them all up to level 16.

3 years later...

I can only tell you I was stricken with sadness and actually decided to leave the game. But after a day of thinking about it and thinking about how much time I've invested into this enjoyable past time I decided what the heck and tossed in another $100 bucks, got rebate, bought the drones back and upgraded them yet again.​

I did this because really it was my own mistake to have not had that all important CPU installed on my ship.

If you have it installed, have rep credits or Uri you will never loose a drone. The CPU is cheap in bids 3 mill credits gets them on my server. I have lots in my inventory. Their good for 32 drone reps.​

I can't express enough the importance of this little CPU in your game.

I do hope Dark Orbit support helps you out here an gives them back. It would be a good happy story to read.​

I really have to wonder where you were when you were taking time to rep drones. For you to pop with your drone damage level high tells me you were out in the open away from a friendly port/base. Best to watch location in the future, but for now, send a nice flower arrangement to support and beg them to send your drones back to you. I have lost two drones before and trust me, after having to go through the entire upgrade process again, this game will completely shut down before I loose a single one again.

 

Drones are no longer lost when they pop but will saty inactive until they are repaired, the only thing you loose now is the level of your drones you will need to build there levels back up. All your upgrades remain intact so you don't need to pay out tons of Uri if your upgraded drones go pop.

 

Where's your source/evidence for this? There is no announcement of it and it hasn't been mentioned by a community manager/dev(or mod) on Discord from what I've seen, just saying that will confuse people.

I don't think this thread would be here either if that was the case, something like this was supposedly coming but as far as I am aware the change hasn't been made yet.

 

Rebate + Premium + Upgrade hour = -55%.

The upgrade hour does not add directly as shown. The 25% "Bonus" comes off after the Premium/Rebate discount is applied. Maximum discount received (prior to the NEW Calendar Bonus) was 47.5%. For the proof you will see 100 Uridium discounted to 70 Uridium and Bonus drops it to 53 (52.5 rounded up) not 45 as we all thought originally. This has been in many threads over the years of the U B H. U B H seems to be the only place D O has decided to do this type of discounting (but we have not seen the effects of the Calendar Bonus for Premium Players). Question has not been answered about whether it stacks with other discounts, so a Premium player could see 70% discount on G G M weekend if D O offers 15% in G G M they have Premium/Rebate/Bonus (25/5/25) or as U B H where the 25% Bonus is actually only 11% in this example (because of the D O discount).

 

I forgot we were dealing with Bigpoint. Ty though, I was always wondering why the discount weren't exactly that much it should.

 

This is something that is to come, per Baracus and OP32 in Twitch, but has not been enacted as of yet.
