[GI] P.E.T hit points

Can sombody explane why we must upgrade hit points on P.E.T when i never use that and all time fly with premium and use kami?Why i need 240k HP and must spend ammo to kill P.E.T to use kami.For me this have no sence...

 

Upgrading your P.E.T's hull is a matter of choice there is no need to upgrade if you are just using kami and collecting.

 

Idk but i still no have new protocols lvl4,i read tht i must upgrade pet first.Ok for all new slots,but why HP?btw my P.E.T is lvl20 and still nothing happend except new slots,he is still dumb,forget boxes just past or kami is random 90% miss target and most of time explode after i kill target with lasers etc...

 

For those who use PET in PvP battles they want more HP so the enemy have to waste more ammo to kill it, this does not mean you have to buy it if you are using Kami all of the time. OP32 responded to the issue of the Level 4 items and the FAQ being misleading. THEY do intend to add this stuff to the Shop, but first they are going to offer it for FREE for doing Event Missions. It seems that they got the cart ahead of the horse when they released the NEW PET Levels and associated FAQ about them.

WE all know that IF our PET was leveled up to 15, years ago, we have accumulated enough EP for them to be level 20 already. They should have never stopped the accumulation of EP just because we reached the level 15 cap. I too, find that unless I am sitting still or flying a very tight circle around the accumulated targets for Kami to work effectively, it misses 95% of the time. The fact that I have to be taking damage for the Kami to activate and then the PET just sits there for 3 seconds before exploding means I have taken a large amount of damage just to inflict the damage to the target as desired. It seems the only time this is any good is when doing Cubikon or Lowers hunting to kill the accumulated trash when killing Sibelons or Devo's in x-4 or x-3 maps, but then you hardly get what it costs in fuel to re-deploy the PET after destruction of these irritants.

I feel this upgrade, as any recently, is just about opening wallets to add more revenue to D O's general ledger. The FAQ was created to generate a desire in the NEW item, a method of receiving it easily was mentioned (but not delivered), and now that people are looking for this NEW item they have explained it away as "WE MADE A MISTAKE" and did not intend to SELL it just yet. Did we not get told, when the Assembly System was introduced to the game, that the Basic Ores would be available in the Shop to be purchased? I seem to recall everyone had to complain about the very low drop rates for D O to finally add these (for a very short time) at an extra high price.

I have found that getting excited over something NEW is just a waste of energy and IF you get the NEW item early you will have a short window of time to get used to it before it is debuffed as it created too much imbalance to the game as they released it, or it has been exploited and had to be reworked immediately to remove the possible exploit cause.

As stated above you don't need to purchase the Hit Point Upgrade. It's there if you wish to do so depending on your play tactics.
