[GI] shield upgrade points not givin

so i upgraded 1 bo2 shield from lev 8 to lev 9 and my shield points did not go up the 200+ points i was expecting.started with 270,900 and ended with 270,900. am i missing something or did i just get burned? thanks for any imput.

 

Are you sure the Shield upgraded is assigned to the ship in question? The Basic increase is only 100 points anyway. Did you try reloging to see if the upgrade was delayed in being seen? There have been many complaints of things not being seen in game immediately.

 

Good point, when you have a lot of equipment, it is hard sometimes to know which one you actually upgraded. I say this because most players have more than one ship they use on a regular basis. That shield you upgraded may be either on a different ship you use or unassigned in the hanger. FYI, Friday is an upgrade hour if you can make it. I am hoping to remember when it comes.

 

ok i found my mistake.i was sure the shield was on my ship but i went back and checked just to be sure.i had forgotten to check both configs and lo and behold......there it was.i'm still laughing at myself then i spent a little time gathering some yuri to upgrade another shield to see how many points it went up. lev 8 to lev 9 upgrade gave me 320 more shield points. i run more shields on my second config and am SLOWLY getting things leveled up. hoping one day to be able to hold my own pvp thanks for the help hmhy and you also psk~sundance. safe flying pilots and thread may close.
