[UI] Changes needed for game to be fun

  1. With the creation of the UFE they did not think it through properly and created a Black Hole in the Universe. This Black Hole is sucking the populations out of the Universe causing the creators to reduce the limits of the Universe trying to reverse the effects of this Black Hole.

    They created the Daily Bonus Calendar which now Guarantees every player can get the Prize in 3 years of just signing in to the Universe, but we all know that once that is easily accomplished there will be another level added (EXTREME Full Elite) which if they lock you, you will die without even one shot being fired, causing a complete tear in the Universe instead of just the floating Black Hole we have now.

    So do the NPC's need to be reworked? NO the NEW players still need to be able to benefit from them.

    Do we need to create NPC's for the UFE to FARM? NO most of them FARM in Gates so they can HUNT weak players in the Maps.

    Do we need to create NEW maps for the UFE to play? YES and these need to be the only place they can engage a NON-UFE player in battle. There should be a system wide buffer that prevents players who are more than 2 levels BELOW the aggressor from being targeted, unless in these NEW maps. (Example a level 16 player is killing Cubes and a level 20 UFE is hunting, he does not see the attacking player of the Cube because of the buffer, he can assist in killing the Cube but not kill the player, BUT the level 16 player does not want to share the rewards and attacks the UFE, BIG Mistake as now the UFE can see him and defend his Ship, the only time they can engage this way.

    This will have a two sided response, the UFE will hate it as they can not get the easy kills anymore, the Low Level players will love it as they are not being killed all of the time. This will also allow the Low level to engage in some PvP battles that are more at their level instead of the ones where they have a target in sight and a UFE comes in and saves the endangered ship by one shot killing the aggressor.

    I know they tried a cross server (Refractions) map that has Failed, they re-worked the JPA and took away the CASH PRIZE calling it UBA and it also has FAILED. They have added MORE Galaxy Gates, which could be good IF this was not a PvP game, but this just gives the UFE somewhere else to get large amounts of AMMO to kill the NEW players out of the Universe.

    This GAME once was a GREAT Game and everyone was able to enjoy playing it, the Newest Player to the OLDEST Veteran, might be seen flying together at the right time, now they are seen being killed instead.

    The really nice thing about this buffer is it defeats the MCC without doing anything to them. They can have the Friendly Ship flying the maps looking for targets but they can not see them as the ship levels are too high.

    Please give us back the Game we helped make so GREAT and you might just live to see your 20th birthday.

    I like the idea overall but there is this point that I disagree:

    Well not exactly for ufes but some npcs with better uri/life would be great for us farming to it or else a big rework in the current ones like fixing their uri/life proportion to something acceptable as to bring the relation between pvp and pve time back to 50/50 or so.

    I like the concept of separating the players by categories and moderating pvp with them. It's logical and even full pvp games do it despite what some players might say about the nature of pvp games (in the case of DO pve/pvp). I just think that equipment should take part in the equation besides player level (something like the uba but actualy working).
     
  3. Sorry I saw I was hijacking another thread and decided that I would create my own expanding on their idea of increasing the Cubikon for the UFE to kill and get more Uridium from.

    I do agree that they messed up when they reworked the Kill Rewards of the Current NPC's back when they "Reloaded" the Orbit, causing us to only KILL for the Quests and thus not for the advancement of our equipment but of our Levels in the game.

    With all of the measures they have taken to remove the REWARDS of using a CHEAT they have actually forced more people to want to use them, Boxing all day used to be profitable and assisted many players to FE status without the need to PAY one red dime to the game, the addition of the PET made it even better to play in X-8 map killing the R's and collecting the Boxes but now you just barely cover the expense of the PET using Auto Looter and if you play more than 2 hours you don't even cover that as the reduction of the Uridium has kicked in.

    I also understand that D O feels that, right now, IF they ban all CHEATERS they will have no one paying for the game, which could be true with the MCC ruining the Events, and the BOTTERS collecting all of the Boxes, the glitches causing many to loose faith in the TEAM, I myself have failed to make improvements to my account since we have no idea what is happening with the merges.

    My understanding of the UBA (never tried it) was basically a 1 v 1 tournament that gave points according to the record of the opponent you beat and your record in the tournament. My maps would be more like the Refractions but on our server more like the Cubikon Graveyard where there were special NPC's and anyone in there was open prey (following Company lines) a DMZ/Base for each Company as an entry/exit Point and was open just like a normal map nothing special to get into it.

  4. I disagree that new maps need to be created. There's already tons of maps and a large portion of them are multi-company based. All they have to do is rework those maps and get some new aliens in there, sort of like they did with the X7 maps and the blightest Kristallons. But something like that for the lower maps, cause what new player wants to destroy 100 sibelons? It's boring. All the new player quests are boring, it's just destroying the same alien over and over.

    UFE's don't need to farm because they have galaxy gates. However, NPCs do need a rework for the sake of newer players not leaving the game before they even started because they just get killed so often. They could release an item so new players cannot be attacked or take a percentage less damage from ships over a certain level. That would also be a great idea and would encourage people to stay and actually get into this VERY pay to win dependant game.

    I ranted about this more on a thread I made here.

  5. Agree with all what HelpMeHelpYou said, i'm a newbie in this game and i might just leave this game even if i'm FE now. I spent like 100 eu in the game and still i'm not even close to UFE, they come and kill me in 2 seconds. 200k dmg is crazy

  6. That's why I made a lot of threads about updates for new players. Even FE is not very strong, I can 3/4 shot most FE players in my ship. It's so boring to do and no wonder half of them stop playing quickly.

  7. TOO BAD your RANT is suggesting the NEW Map just like I suggested and you said was not needed, the only difference is yours is for the NEW/WEAK player and I gave the UFE something else to do than just hunt them like they do now.

    Here was my comment to the denial you created in your thread.

    Here is from your idea;

    Another great update idea is they could create a map right in the centre of the galaxy where new players can all play together and help each other become strong. While the friendly fire is completely disabled and ships above a certain level either cannot enter it or their strong ammo, along with the ability to attack other ships, is also disabled on the map.

    Here was my Idea;

    I disagree that new maps need to be created. There's already tons of maps and a large portion of them are multi-company based.

    I had suggested the creation of Level Protection to prevent the Constant Bullying being caused by the MCC. My suggestion also used what they have already created but applied it to the server instead of a NEW server as D O has attempted to do already (Cross Server Arena) and adding some of the NPC's already created for some targets to kill that are not in normal maps if there are no Ships to kill.

    SO you want to have all of the NEW players in ONE Map (but then what exactly is a NEW Player) they do have the "Starter Gate" and X-1 is fully protected and gives full goodies until they reach level 7.

    I created a playground for the UFE where they could kill anyone who entered this map Plus have Uber Cubikons to deal with, and since this is a 3 Company Game would mean 3 MAPS, but again just taking what they designed for the Cross Server and adding it to the regular servers and IF only one map then a Base or DMZ for each Company.

    Help me Help You, We often, quite often, do not see eye to eye and probably share no love loss. However as much as it may hurt :mad: I believe you are spot on with this one and would appreciate the change :)
     
  9. maybe if people didnt complain on the forums and actually try and play the game there wouldn't be any problems

    The problems still exist, did we complain or not, but it's true that you can't progress by complaining all the time.

    And to the original ideas of both of you: If your level system is based on Experience points, your ideas are going to be waste, you can see it by yourself if you start a new account on big servers without spending anything, but work and playing time on the game.
