[TI] Is there a Glitch On Shooting Enemy Pets?

I try to shoot sum enemy pets when they try to pop them on me and my ship will fire once or twice then stop firing. Even when I am in pally area and try to kill an enemy pet my ship will not fire at all or I have to keep pressing the fire button aka the laser ammo will not come out of laser. Is this Lag or is it a BUG?

Basically pets only get damaged by rockets. So it might be why your lasers do not appear to be firing.

 

I believe the enemy PET should be close to its owner before you could shoot it fully, if you only shoot once or twice against it then the owner is far away from its PET. These are from my experiences.

But as for what Deter said I only experienced that with my PET when I'm inside a GG. When I already entered a GG and I forgot to decrease my PET's HP so that I could use kami, it won't allow me to shoot it with lasers but rockets do work. As for enemy PETs I think I have not yet experienced it or maybe I just don't pay attention with it. Got to try first before I could confirm.

 

I have seen this in maps and the PET will be uncloaked and I will get the lock and not be able to shoot it, like you are describing, and as they got closer to the owner they would cloak again and then I could fire on it but then I had to deal with the owner protecting it.

 

Pets can be damaged by lasers.

What you do is you have to shoot a rocket at the pet first then you would be able to shoot lasers at it.

This also happens to pets when they are boxing, likewise do the same technique.

 

Your wrong if a pet is equipped with combo guard mode it will not take any laser damage only rockets will damage it. Enjoy

 

I shoot a rocket at the pet and let my pet go after it. It works.

 

I remember long ago. I had no problem shooting pets in pally area or attacking pets that are going to kamikaze me I shoot them before they hit me. This is a BUG that need to be addressed, or the Development Team did something to them.

Example the other day fighting enemy. I see his pet shoot and charging me I know its going to kamikaze I am backing away from the explosion that is going to happen I try to shoot the pet damn the lasers don't work damn I could had stopped it but I get hit because the damn lasers didn't work on the enemy pet.
