[GI] Adobe will remove support of flash in 2020. What now?

What are the devs going to do once’s adobe removes support to flash?

Adobe animate is an alternative I think since it’s somewhat similar to flash but uses canvas instead I think.

Or will it be abandoned?

With Adobe’s recent announcement concerning Flash support ending in 2020, you may be concerned about Dark Orbit. This message is to reassure you Bigpoint has everything covered.

We’ve been well aware of Adobe’s Flash development strategy and, given the importance of the change, we reacted immediately. Working on solutions to ensure that Dark Orbit will operate in the year 2020 and for many more to come. You can expect us to deliver these solutions in the next few years, well before the Flash support ends. In a few recent twitch streams there has been a leaked download-able client. Not out yet.

So, there’s no need to worry about and you’ll be able to enjoy playing Dark Oribt now and in the future.
