[GI] GATES, GATES, AND MORE GATES

This may be a stupid question.

Can we do a gate more than one time?

It seems I see people doing several gates in different posts. To get the same reward over again. Is it allow? Is it advantageous?

When you build a gate, complete all the waves - the gate closes and you get rewards. You have to build a new gate. As long as you have URI, you can build a gate but you can't re-use a completed (killed all the waves) one as it disappears when it's done. I build gates all week and play them on the weekend when it's either Kronos day or Double Rewards Gate day.

 

You have to do multiple gates in order to get your Kronos Crown let alone build the Kronos Gate but there are folks that farm GROUP GATES ie Hades Gate ... http://www.bigpoint.com/darkorbit/board/threads/galaxy-gate-faq.972/

Also note, you can build 2 of each gate. Built it and open it then build the second. Once you complete the first gate the second is now available to open. The Only gate you can not build 2 of is the Kronos gate.

Are you sure of this? I know it would be a long time in doing so but will it not allow you to open it and still collect the gate parts as you finish more gates?

 

Just give it a try. Activate a built Kronos and see if you can start collecting more parts

 

Hi All,

I have completed all the gates except the last two. I guess I have the Kronos Crown, but I didn't know the name of it.

The Hades Gate; I haven't had anybody that wanted to go and do it with me. It said you need a group. I have been trying over a year to join a group or start a group. I don't know if it is the time I play or no one wants to do the gate. Can I do it on my own?

Kuiper Gate; I'm waiting until I finish Hades Gate. I don't know if you can do it out of order. I did all the gates (that I have completed in order) one at a time.

I went back and look at all the different Galaxies their are. I have lost two gates that I had build. I know it was a long time ago (maybe over a year) but they are gone. The gates that should be there is Hades and Kuiper Gate, but they are not. Why are they gone? Do I have to rebuild?

Now back to my original question. I have completed the upper gates, I have the Kronos Crown, and can I go back to other's gates at random and build a gate and refight that Galaxy? Do I still get the rewards?

Yes, as many as you wish.

You can do as many gates as you wish and your account will be reward all the time with special bonuses during event's .The order does matter in the difficulty matter but that more likely to be with Alpha, Beta and Gamma as it does increase npc's hp, shield, damage and reward. Other gates are different you can check them all in our FAQ section

Hmm, now that you've mentioned it I may be wrong. It does make sense that one could build 2 Kronos Gates.

Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck​

You could probably get at least one back. Support will give a lost gate back once a month. Of course this is not carved in stone but generally they will. Decide which gate would be of more value to you and contact support about getting it back.

As FT said you could send a ticket to Support and ask them to look into the 2 gates that you had built but not started. I know I lost some when I was just doing SkyLab Transfers as the internet I was using would not allow me to play the game, but I could not say for sure so I never reported it. As far as doing Hades, you need to get with your Clan and see if you can get some of them to assist you in getting a group together. Also, Sundays are the best day to try to get them done.

My apologies for interrupting Mod_Toby's say. Unfortunately if you did build a new gate for the one you lost Support would be unable to help you. However if you lose your next gate then do contact Support for a courtesy gate reset BEFORE you build a new gate. Yes it is gate specific, should you lose Beta gate, you can build alpha/delta/kappa etc, but not Beta if you want a reset.
