[GI] ? what is this Red Dot

I have seen it come and go during my time in the game server...

So basically it's a visual glitch and has nothing of value involving my [user] icon or account notifications
was my concern because there was 2 red dots ....
the other was in the Command Center.

 

before this weekend the flashing red dot in the command centre went off the moment you opened it ,during the weekend this red dot refused to go off continually flashing even tho i had turned it off , everytime i jumped thro a portal it started again ,every time i jump chipped to another map it would come on again i eventually to get round the continuos flashing i went to open config in settings and placed the 5 icon bar on top of it only to have the words continually appear underneath but it did stop the flashing

 

When you open the command center, you will need to switch through all of the associated deals, bargains, event notifications on each of the possible windows.
There are tabs that can show along left side.
Each tab 'may' have a red dot in it. If it does, then when you select the tab, there may also be an arrow within the window.
You need to click on that arrow to cycle through, then you may also need to select another tab and repeat.
Once all of the windows have been cycled through, the red dot should be off.
The red dot will not re-appear unless a new deal, etc is added.
Until then every time you use a portal, the red dot will show itself. Sometimes in two places if the glitch starts up again.
