A NEW SLOT CPU IS NEEDED TO FIT ALL CPU ITEMS COMFORTABLY, CPU ITEMS WONT FIT WITH ONLY A FEW SLOTS AND HUNDREDS OF CPUS!

 

No need. Your drones can also fit Extras if you so desire.

A properly equipped ship will only need the +10 extender, and have no need to put any CPUs in drones.

 

as you build your ship {which may take some time} you will discover how to do the accomplishments the placements of all your Items/Cpu's .... Mix your ship configurations and test what configuration works best for the ship your in. You will lean from experience . The Big Guns of DarkOrbit in reality will help others. Not ALL of them but most in general.

What all are you trying to equip?

 

mine turbo cpu , smart bomb cpu , instant shield cpu , auto rocket cpu , auto rocket buy cpu , drone repair cpu , jump cpu(one config only), rocket turbo cpu , auto ammo buy cpu , the slot cpu itself takes a slot , auto repair cpu , repair bot , cargo extension , rocket launcher cpu ,
all of these are essential and some are placed on only 1 config , trust me we need a comfortable slot cpu to place all cpus comfortably and without being worried ..the game is already complicated and needs much money and effort , imagine if someone doesnt have premium , his pet would be totally useless this is one small example

 

You just have to pick your battles, and in this case your cpu's. Some of the cpu's are only needed in certain situations. You only need cargo extension loaded if you are doing one of the 20 missions that call for collecting, like the 1k and 5k daily's. The drone repair cpu can easily be left off if you are good at watching your health, and the ammo/rocket buy cpu's are mainly for convenience as well. All these I have mentioned, I use on all my ships, but don't use the first three you mentioned, mainly because I am not too much into pvp. But it goes to my point, you have to pick your cpu's. This game is not designed to give it all to you.

 

The Auto Ammo purchase CPUs are completely unnecessary and are a true waste of space. Go to shop, and purchase millions of ammunition; much easier and don't even have to keep an eye on it.

The Drone Repair CPU, I highly suggest that you go against it. I, as well as many others, have lost drones, despite having a full CPU available on BOTH configurations. Best if you manually check and repair.

The Rocket Launcher CPU, very good to use in PvP. Opens up a slot in your Hotbar for another item, but I suggest not using it in PvE. You can manually fire rockets much faster than with the CPU.

The Cargo Extension, I view it as a trash item now, since the Skylab update. I keep it on Citadel 24/7 and ship Prom everyday to it. If I'm in the mood to farm up credits, I deck out my Citadel w/ the extender and farm up stuff to sell cargo; a PvE item.

Try to fit your ship for one, sole purpose at a time. Don't go about it half-[REDACTED] and try to fill the roles of a PvPer and PvEer at once.
