[TI] Level 5/6 drone repair in new BL maps

I noticed that the drones do not repair in Black Light maps which I find annoying.

Let me run this by you again, shall I?

... So, a player that hits big aliens doesn't seem to be able to get anywhere if his drones are repping at Lvl 5...They stay Lvl 5..

Could you elaborate further as to your drone repair issues? Are you experiencing issues with the Drone repair CPU or trying to manually repair on the backpage?

 

If your drones are lvl 5 when shooting things in BL maps, they do NOT gain points to get back to lvl 6.
Repair drones at base - Enter BL map with lvl 5 drones 0/1600 - shoot many many npc's in BL map - check drones and still lvl 5, 0/1600.

 

It's probably cause you need the kill in order to get points to repair your drones, So if you are in a group killing big aliens your only getting rewards for being the one of the top hitters your not actually getting any kills for that alien.

Hi, umm...Yeah the drones simply do not upgrade from lv5 to lv6 easily. I know that in BL it would take forever to lvl up.

I don't understand why you would waste time and ammo in BL maps if you're drones aren't level 6 in the first place, and also complain about not getting points for it.

For that map, I assume you would be using a high-classed ship, and with that, you get heavily reduced points from killing NPCs to get them to level up. It is far easier and faster to switch to a Phoenix or Leonov and destroy things in x-3/x-4.
