[TI] Silver Demon Drones

When using the demon drones, you should see a color indicator but have noticed the silver version does not seem to trigger the drone color status. Has anyone else noticed this?

 

Yes, I have a mixture of Demon drones and the Silver ones appear to be empty slots in game.

 

Hi All,

There are two type of Demon Drones (Silver and Epic) and both act the same when being display on you ship markings. They also give the same benefits too. It is suppose to be silver, but it looks white like you have nothing. On my Citadel I run all demons for the added bonus of 1% for each drone (10%) having a Silver/Epic Demons you get an extra 5% cooldown reduction. Having the blank coloring has been that way from the start. I figure maybe the enemy think I have nothing for my drones and Surprise, Surprise, Surprise I have rocket bonus. So take that. Plus I run the Chevron Formation for my drones too for added bonus for my rockets. Chevron has good and bad it will increase rocket damage by 65%, but reduces hit points by 20% so on the Citadel my "tank" I take the hit because the bunch is worth it to me. With 10 missiles I have hit over a +/-100k of damage with my rockets (depends on what rocket I have loaded) too. I don't use demon on other class of ships because only having 5 missiles. I use Hercules and Havoc which are hard to come by. I don't have many of them. Demon is the only skin for drones that add bonus to your ship. All the others or just makeup.

If you have them, you can find them in your ship's inventory (in your hanger) list after the Havoc and before the Drone Formation.

I have been using the Epic for years on my other account and figured they could help with this one. I think I have one silver on my other account but had not taken note of the problem there. However coming to this account, I have one of each and it threw me a curve ball to see the issue. My main has 30 demons, I am so jealous.

yeah, 600K URI (with premium and rebate) for a small bonus to rockets and NO cosmetic value.

 

That bonus is great when its your only option. Its going to take me forever to get havok/spartan. Those have been so helpful on my other account I am just getting around to trying to work on Havoks and until these last few waves of added missions, I had pve missions down to 8. Now add about 200 to that I think, ugh. I will take the demons to help me out. Too bad they took the Tunnel away, I could have had a set of nice epic demons for about 3 ships by now but no, they switch to Vortex.

You know you can share demon between both configurations. You don't need 20 demons to full both config 1 and 2. That is what I was told. I have the 20 demons but I haven't tried it yet. I didn't know you could share same items between the configuration.

that is correct, everything can be used on both configs at the same time. the picture of item will be darkened when you switch to other configuration.
