[GI] Prometheus laser/LF4 MD /UCB-100/A-BL

I have looked around forum and did not find any post which seemed to answer my next Q's.

1-Is there a minimum number of Prom. lasers required to achieve overdrive effect?

2-Does UCB-100 work as well as A-BL (with Prom. lasers)when used against BL aliens that do not fall into the 8X category?

3-Does A-BL give 8X damage with lasers other than Prom. lasers?

4-Is the overdrive effect the reason for the graphics change of ammo when firing?

 

1. No. The effect will appear with one Prometheus laser already. Only when you have full Prometheus lasers in ship, the scatter shot's visual effect will change from red to purple.

2. Prometheus lasers do x3,5 damage to all of the npc on bl maps (behemoth,invoke,attend,impulse), no matter which ammo, except sab50.
