  1. In 4-5 I cant use the lower ends of the enemy locator because it's out of range. And before a load of community members come and say "you can press control and scroll out", I know that, I'm just posting this so they make a fix for people that might not know about it etc.

It's quite annoying to keep scrolling in and out just to pick the alien, so can we have a scroll option on the enemy locator for 4-5 please?

  2. I have same issue, a way around this is to switch to full screen mode. You can then see the full scroll of NPC on the list. Once you find it you can hit escape and return to normal mode.

  3. I was reading your post and I am having trouble understanding the problem you are describing. I use my enemy locater in 4-5 all the time and do not have any issues with it. However my Protocols are all radar except for one and thats salvage 4.
When I travel along the center axis horizontally , I pick up alien indicators to both edges of map both north and south.
My window displays all available aliens on map .
Please explain what you mean by "lower ends of enemy locater"

    I agree

  5. I think there are talking about lower lvl protocol instead of stage 3 they bought lower than that.
My advice never buy lower than lvl 3 cause once you get lvl 3 the others are worthless unless you like buying with uri and selling for credits.

  6. It refers to the list being long, because it list every npc "located" in the map. Since the list is so long, you may have to zoom out to see what is at the end of the list. A better resolution for your monitor would also help. Its not always the game at fault.

  7. Okay , thats makes sense , I guess . I have a high resolution and never occurred to me that , that could be a problem. Thx guys.
I be checking back in case the original poster has something different to say.

  8. I'm full range protocols as well (I also have full alien, laser, fuel saver and salvage), this is irrelevant to the discussion point.

The point is that when selecting the alien the ones at the bottom of the list cannot be selected if they are at the very bottom so you need to scroll out but this shouldn't be the solution to this problem.

I must admit, I don't see what's hard to get.

  9. You cant make games based on resolution different players might have. That would be like if in Dota 2 you cant see the minimap because of your screen and Valve just said "buy a new one", um, no, that's not how it works. It's an issue that they would need to fix.

And it's the exact same with this, it's on Bigpoint because my monitor is 720p so it's definitely not old.

  10. Simple resolve for the player.. Change to FULL SCREEN MODE to see full list of NPC's in the 4-5 map because there are so many on the list they don't all show, most yes but not the last 4 or 5 at bottom of the list and usually the ones that don't show are the ones you're looking for.

Now if you pay attention, you will notice that the more times you target certain NPC it moves up on the list. On lengthy missions eventually the NPC you are most targeting will end up at the top of the list.

This is pretty simple stuff and an easy fix for the player. Don't complicate matters further.

  11. Its not a matter of if your monitor is old, as that is not the case here. The issue is the resolution. Yours is 720p, mine is 1080p. The list is still long for me, so the real question is how much do I zoom out in order to see everything. This is nothing new, I first starting dealing with it when I played on a 10 inch screen tablet. Once you start playing more than a minute, you figure out a solution and get over it. You have known the solution for a while from your starting post so the real question is why are you assuming it is a game issue? Now on the other hand, a change could be made t the map, removing the boss npc out. Removing the redundancy would solve the issue altogether. It is the Uber map.

  12. The point is you shouldn't have to zoom out to be able to select the enemy you want in a map. I don't understand why you are ranting about things I never even hinted at? The map is fine. Just needs a fix for finding the npc you want on the enemy locator list.

  13. What's hard to get was exactly what you you meant in your original post . Now that I DO understand I realize it's a non-issue for most players and an easy fix for YOU. Sorry for attempting to understand and help.
Your replies are riddled with attitude and I'm sorry I tried to help.

  14. You already know the fix and even stated it in your first post.

  15. Yeah, I wish you didn't because ultimately it's useless. You are ranting about the same thing over and over when it's not helping. I said in my original post that zooming shouldn't have to be the solution for a game problem but it's all you want to recommend.
What's that even got to do with what I said? I'm really lost at what you are trying to say.

i said they need a fix for the enemy locator list and it shouldn't be zoom out just to select the alien. Where did you even get this response from?

    Hello Λℓмоѕт•Fαмоυѕ,

This was previously brought up before years ago, but went ahead and submitted another report for the development tech team to look into. We can not guarantee a fix.

Closing to prevent flaming/please see future tech announcements for a possible fix.
