  1. Greetings,
I've been playing for many years now but not continuously(My pc broke down etc.) but never really cared for my ship/rank i just wanted to play and have fun but that changed lately.I really want to become UFE.I am level 19(close to 20).I've managed to upgrade all of my IRIS to max Level also got a couple of havocs and gathered 16 LF4's(3 of them are 16 level, and the rest of them are from 5-12 levels) and 3 LF4 paritrydills and 1 LF4 Magmadrill lots of BO2 shields and and a max level rocket launcher.I got 21 talents. Also got Heart and Drill formations.
    SO
I feel like im lost and i dont know what to do excactly from here.Ive been collecting palla to do Zetas and get full havocs and parts for Apis. And ive been upgrading my LF4's to get them to 16 level. The thing is that some people told me that it isnt worth to upgrade your LF4's anymore and that i should focus on more formations, apis and at my shields. Is this true?
Furthermore what do you consider to be the most beneficial NPC to kill?(Other than cub's).
What do you advise me to do?Any suggestions will be very appreciated.

  2. I will break this down and answer as much as I can for you mate.

Firstly being UFE is defined as full LF-4, that means full upgraded LF-4 still counts as UFE even though hyperplasmoids are better. So it's really up to you, if you don't want to grind to get those lasers or any others just upgrade them.

Secondly, the term "UFE" is made by players like ourselves, there is no official definition for the word but I still follow this page when defining the word as its always been quite well written and maintained. Spartans are defined as being needed, although personally full havoc and hercules is enough to be considered UFE.

However you slice it, really being UFE is up to the person and many people will have a different opinion.

What should you do next? Get your havocs and hercules if you don't have them and do delta gate during the event for the hyperplasmoid. You can also compete in missions to try and get them through the Assembly, although its very hard.

No, upgrading your drones is always the first priority. Getting drone formation depends on what you want to do; if you want to do missions getting formations such as drill and diamond would help a large amount. But formations aren't needed to be UFE because technically being UFE just means you have all the equipment on your ship and since formations aren't actually on your ship it doesn't really count although they definitely give a nice advantage at times.

When doing zeta gate you will also get a nice amount of pilot points and booty boxes meaning you can aim for the Apis and Zeus at once through the relevant Zeus event (since you can get both I recommend doing opening boxes only then).

All in all mate it's all about what you want to do. Don't let people tell you how to play the game.

I just disagree with the farming of enhanced lf4(hyerplasmoid), as they are "useless" with getting the new Prometheus lasers.

Zetas will be fine for additional research points(logfiles), collecting parts for apis/zeus(green keys) and havocs.

Full Hercules by playing kappa gates is also a next step.

As you have some 100K Uri and premium/rebate you should play as much a,b,y as possible(first three gates) on weekend, so you can build up ammo for farming more uridium and even get uri+ from the gates already.

Besides, you should start doing the bl-map laser quests for the first 10 "free" new lasers and on long terms farm the lasers in general...

  4. Thank you for the break down it was really helpful.
I really dont want to grind hypersplasmoids for now so im just upgrading my LF-4's.Furthermore thank you for the link it was very helpful.Getting my havocs is what im doing currently,Zeta has 67 parts and im doing even more palla today to make sure ive completed it due to weekend.Getting new Formatios would be a bit hard right now so i'll leave it for another time.
    Thank you for your suggestions!

Well the event just ended and i didnt get to do anything unfortunately.
I just checked what parts prometheus laser needs and its pretty hard for me to get them.Nevertheless the missions for the hypersplasmoids are quite enjoyable for me caues i like doing missions.Zeta's is what im focusing on now and im using the Keys on Apis day for apis parts.
    Thank you

Just do all of the players giving you advices one favour and that's not wasting Uri on upgrading your standard lf4:confused:;)
The effect is barely noticeable and you will replace them anyway.
Though you can start upping the bo2 shields, if you want to take part in pvp, as you will notice it quite a lot...

    Everything else sounds good:)

  8. Just 1 more.About lf4's and you can close the thread.

  9. But replacing standard LF4's will take lots of time especially for me.I really need the extra damage, thus upgrading my LF4's i tihnk is a good choice for now even thoght im not sure if its really worht it.

ugrading lf4 is a waste of uridium

  11. Alright then.
Gotta start upgrading my BO2 then.
    Thank you everyone.

  12. You are just completely wrong. Hyperplasmoid gives health and Prometheus gives a small damage increase. The increase is so medicore even with full, it's like a 3,000 damage x1 increase in total due to the regular attacks doing less damage than the LF-4 (it has two less base damage per).

So actually, you are just wrong, it's not better or worse. It simply depends on if the person using them wants health or just raw damage.

Outside of that I agree Zeta gate is definitely the best gate to do if you need log disks, booty keys for zeus or apis or havoc drone designs. But, I don't agree that Kappa gate is the next step.

You should be getting at least 30-35 pilot points through zeta gate before you stop. By the end of that you are sure to have full pilot sheet in PvP or PvE for the most part and enough log disks to get all the good equipment from them including the "new" extra drones.

  13. Ah sorry didn't see this until I wrote a post so sorry for the double posting.

During the laser storm event which happens sometimes on the weekends (Sunday is the best day, for two lasers instead of one, at least, I believe it was doubled when I do it but I don't quite remember) you can get any of the enchanced LF-4s through completing gates.

I really recommend doing this if you want these lasers because otherwise crafting them takes a long ass while.

I believe Delta was the hyperplasmoid, Zeta was the magmadrill and Kappa was the Paritydrill.
You can find out more about this event here.
