    Berserker ship
    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Go wild on your foes in the Berserker ship! The more damage you sustain, the bigger of a threat you are! This ship comes with the following abilities: Shield Link, Berserk, and Revenge.
Shield link - Creates a link between you and a targeted ship for %DURATION% seconds. While linked, damage dealt to the target's shields is dealt to your own ship instead. You can break the link during the skill duration by toggling the skill off.

Berserk - For %DURATION% seconds, laser damage is increased by the percentage of HP lost.

Revenge - Reflects all damage dealt to Berserker directly back to enemy for %DURATION% seconds.

... In red-> incentive to not shoot your target... or to do a suicide... why else have damage transferred back to your own ship when you are shooting an enemy vessel?

  4. It's probably meant as to help allies. When you link with a friends shields, they won't take damage to shields but you will

  5. I think you mean it encourages suicide configs because you can't hurt their shields with a Berserker next to them, so just go straight for their HP in moth.

  6. IDK - text says whatever damage you should be doing to them, is actually done to your ship. Maybe it is the way it is written.

  7. The key word is targeted ship, not enemy. I picture this skill working like the "Guard" skill on Elder Scrolls Online. But in that game the skill only takes 30% of the dmg off whoever you "lifebond" to and applies it to the caster instead.

  8. The ideal playstyle for the Berserker, I assume, would be to use Shield Link on an enemy to get your HP really low, and then use Berserk and Revenge together to obliterate them out of existence, all while taking no damage.

I think speed will be a deciding factor here. As soon as you activate shield link in a 1 V 1 your target should switch to moth or just stop shooting and run away: no point in wasting ammo and trying to deal damage if it is directed back at you anyway. If the Berserker is a fast ship you could keep up with running enemies but otherwise it would just end up in a stalemate. In larger fights the Berserker could be interesting in terms of helping friendly units but let's be honest: if people really wanted to help friendly units they would fly a Hammerclaw or Citadel. The only way I see this ability work is as a surprise, if you turn it on just before your enemy uses a combo against you.

I do see potential in Berserk however: imagine the insane damage boost you could get at the beginning of a fight by simply entering it with diamond and then switching to crab or even worse: drill and moth...

What I think is going to happen is the same as with the Disruptor: OP during beta and then nerfed after which nobody uses it anymore (even though it still has potential). People tend to use what they know unless (or sometimes even when) they are proven wrong. I wonder how this will all turn out.

That seems like a disadvantage. Why would anyone use that? Unless it is meant to enhance or expedite the use of the other abilities. Use shield link first, then berserk or revenge?

  11. Question I saw a post on FB about B03 shield gens coming out is this true? If so do you have the stats on it?

  13. So they raise the price to the "BUY NOW" option on Energy Leech and Battle Repair bot by 2000 Uri in the new assembly system

Now I see how I lost about 60 Battle Repair Bot's. They have been messing with this "Upgrade"! (???)

So are my other 734 Energy Leeches and 795 Targeters going to disappear too?

  14. I don't know who tought you math but 70k of 120k is 70/120=0,5833333 or to get percentage 58,33%

I have some old calculations for damage I would have to check it but comparing this new ship with cyborg which have 16 lasers, I can say next:
its true that you have 11 lasers less that is 25 compared to 36 and you don't have 10% dmg boost BUT most dmg you get is from drones which is always 20 slots.

So with my calculation I came to number that with 51,5% boost you should hit like cyborg, down side to this ship is speed that is much lower and everybody can escape.

Conclusion: this ship is fun, it does a lot of dmg but its really slow, citadel protect a lot of ships this protect just one but can do amazing things, expecting it to see farming NPC, doing gates on low hp as well, will be great thing for new players so they can hit harder and get equipment faster. On map UFE will blow you up only if you decide to stay and fight, I don't see it as hunting ship but its good most other areas.

On map UFE "WILL" blow you up every time as you can't run away Beserk like Diminisher is too slow to be considered anything more than a gimmick.

  17. Just going to be another one of those ships that people speculate and complain about it being too powerful, but no one will use because it will suck too much compared to cyborg.

I mean seriously I don't know why Darkorbit is bothering with new ships when no one is going to use it, because the real problem is the Cyborg, its just too damn overpowered.

Actually yes... thats why there are no ship modules... And even with no ship modules people still use it 95% of the time.
