honestly, i think we were just about to get to the climax of this discussion. you (and many others) don't like the compensation, and you want to get the ball rolling and have things changed. That's all fine and good, if you make a good compensation fit for all, we can post it in update and idea pool. Would you be willing to do that?

 

If it is meant to compensate for a month in which the eternal gate event happened, maybe they could give out some event´s ship/pet lasers? Those cost bytes that you earn through playing the gate and dying. Both the pet and ship lasers are suited for all the players except the UFE ones, which own lvl 16 prometheus. So maybe giving out some of these would make the players feel more compensated then things you adquire after making 1 45 pieces gate.

Or, as an alternative, don´t give out any compensation whatsoever. Between nothing and getting that I´d rather get nothing and have the responsibles postponing any future events to focus their efforts on fixing the lag. Because events, altough enjoyable and fun, are a barrier to fixing the game.

They require time and effort to make, which I respect and am grateful for, but the core game issues are more important. And as a company, the point of it is to make money. Events give money. Events are desired by the company and players. I get that too. But do it the good way- not in a way where you don´t fix the main issues and launch events on top of everything to earn money, because these will not be enjoyable with lag.

When was the month of lag? I havent been playing every day, but I'm pretty sure I didnt miss a month. Maybe its a server thing and didnt effect USwest.

 

February and March, especially during the mimesis and eternal gate event. And the months prior to it as well. It affected all servers, some like GE1 and GE7 more than others, but all in general.

 

Moderator: Might as well close this off and pass it on to whatever group internally decides on the voucher stuff that it seems anything is not appreciated by the masses, so they may as well not do this again for any reason. That at least frees up a bit of time.
I started the thread on a positive note as opposed to a complaint about items the forums have no real way to correct in game.
