    How Can I Use the Flash Player in Google Chrome?

    The Flash Player can be activated manually for DarkOrbit. Simply follow the step by step instructions below.

    Step 1:

    Login to DarkOrbit.​

    The starting screen will prompt „Flash not installed/Flash plug-in has been deactivated“ (or similar).​

    In case you did not yet install the Flash Player you can download it here: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/.

    Step 2:

    Click on the padlock icon which you will find on the left side of the browser’s address bar.​

    Step 3:

    Click on “Site settings” in the menu which will pop up.

    Step 4:

    A new tab will open in which you will find “Flash” in the “Permissions” section. Click on the button “Block (default)”.​

    Step 5:

    Select “Allow” from the drop-down menu and close the Settings tab.​

    Step 6:

    Click the “Reload” button to update your browser settings for DarkOrbit.​

    Step 7:

    The game will now load in your browser window and you can play as usual.

    Step 8:

    Enjoy playing DarkOrbit.​

    Flash player setup in Mozilla Firefox
    Step 1:
    Click on the 3 bars icon on the upper right side to get to the browser settings.

    Step 2:
    Select AddOns in the menu to open the AddOns overview. Alternatively, you can get there by entering “about:addons” (without quotation marks) in the address bar or using the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+A.

    Step 3:
    Look for “Shockwave Flash” within the installed plugins. You may scroll down a bit to find it in case you have a couple of plugins installed.

    In case that you do not find the plugin it is likely that it is not yet installed. Before moving on with step 4 you need to install the plugin. Here you get to the download: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/.

    Step 4:
    Click on the 3 dots icon of the “Shockwave Flash“ plugin

    Flash Player Setup in Microsoft Edge

    Step 1:
    Open the browser setting by clicking on the 3 dots icon on the upper right of Microsoft Edge.

    Step 2:
    Select “Settings”, you may scroll down a bit to find it in the menu.

    Step 3:
    Select “View advanced settings” and set the option “Use Adobe Flash Player” to “on”.

    Step 4:
    Login to DarkOrbit and click on the puzzle piece which will be displayed where the game loads usually:

    Step 5:
    Allow the Flash player to load. Unfortunately, using Microsoft Edge you will need to allow Flash after each login.


    Step 6:
    Enjoy DarkOrbit.
