    Changes

After the feedback from the last Galactic Strife event, we did some changes in the Galactic Strife event:

    • [*]The Reputation system is adapted in a way that only players that fight on Battle Maps can increase/decrease reputation
[*]There’s a new mechanic called: Reputation Fever
[*]The rewards in the Battle Pass are updated
      [*]There are some new modules
[*]There are some new ship designs in the ranking rewards
[*]The colors of the Galactic Strife titles have been changed
The objectives & rewards in the Battle Pass are updated May 2020
    • There are some new ship designs in the ranking rewards
    • There is a new P.E.T Gear
    • There are some new ship upgrade modules
    • There are new sprays and emotes
    • The Reputation ranking has been updated with the 2 new ship designs
    • The Reputation ranking will have a live update every hour
    Reputation System

In the beginning of the event, all players start with a Reputation score of 500. Whenever you win or lose in PvP battles, your Reputation will be affected. Your aim is to get the highest Reputation score in your server! The Reputation rank will remain below the players’s name during the event on all maps.

Only players level 6 and above can gain/lose reputation. Killing or being killed by players below level 6 does not affect your reputation points. But take note that killing players below level 6 will still affect your kill count, therefore affecting your reputation per kill points. Players below level 6 can still complete the Objectives in Galactic Strife.

This time, reputation can only be increased / decreased while fighting on Battle Maps. If an opponent shot the player and left the Battle Map, it’s possible for the opponent to get reputation if the player died on the Battle Map. There are 2 important things to notice:
    1. The former 1.5x multiplier to Reputation gain/loss when fighting on the battle maps will be removed in this event.
    2. The PvP protection that you gain if you lose reputation 3 times in a row within 60 minutes (see explanation of PvP protection) will not apply if a player dies on non Battle Maps!
With this change of the Reputation system, players who don’t want to take part in the PvP action are not forced anymore to take part.

The reputation will be calculated like the following:
    • If the player deals 80% of damage to the player that lost, then the reputation gained will only be 80%
    • Only the top 2 damage dealers to the player will get points
    • If any of the damage dealers deals less than 10% of the total damage, the player doesn’t get points.

The smaller the difference in reputation between you and your opponent, the more reputation you can gain. If the difference in Reputation is too large, it is possible to not gain any points.

Reputation gain also depends on the amount of damage dealt to the losing opponent. If there is more than one player attacking the losing player, only the top 2 damage dealers will gain Reputation (based on their damage dealt). If you deal too litle damage, it is possible to not gain any Reputation.

    For example:
    • Player A has reputation 920 and Player B has reputation 900 -> the reputation difference is 20
    • If A wins, A will gain 30 reputation and B will lose 30 reputation.
    • Player C has reputation 1000 and Player D has reputation 500 -> reputation difference is 500
    • If C wins, C will gain only 10 reputation (less reputation compared to A's win) and D will lose 10 reputation.
Please note that numbers mentioned above are only an example to explain the system and are not accurate to the actual reputation awarded.

If the reputation difference is too large, it is also possible to not gain any points (and it will still affect your Reputation per Kill rank! )

    Reputation Milestones

You can get the rewards below whenever you reach a certain Reputation Milestone for the first time.

    Reputation Fever

We implemented a new mechanic called “Reputation Fever”. During the “Reputation Fever” times, you can gain x2 Reputation from killing other players but the loss in reputation remains at x1.

If the ship is destroyed on the Battle Maps, it can be repaired for free in Home Base or at the nearest gate.

The “Reputation Fever” takes places at the following times (all LST):
    • Monday to Friday: between 10:00 to 12:00 (2hours) and 19:00 to 21:00 every day (2 hours)
    • Saturday and Sunday: between 11:00 to 13:00 (2 hours) and 19:00 to 21:00 (2 hours)

    Objectives & Battle Pass

Both the objectives and the rewards have been adjusted. The new rewards will be displayed within the game when opening the objectives.

    New Ship Designs

There will be 2 new ship designs for the “Berserker” coming together with the event:
    • Neikos Berserker (available as a reward in the Reputation rank)
    • Arios Berserker (available as a reward in the Reputation per kill rank)

    New PET Gear

    HP Link
When you equip and activates this PET Gear, the PET will fly and link to you. The damage done to the players’ hull is sent to the PET while linked. When the gear is active, the PET will consume fuel at a higher rate. The PET is in Guard mode during the linked duration and it will deal 25% additional damage while linked.
    • The PET will be linked for up to 20 sec, or if it dies first
    • The link can be broken by changing to another PET Gear
    • After the link is broken, there’s a cooldown of 240 sec
    • If the PET dies while linked, there’s no honor gained by the opponent.
    • Berserker’s Revenge and shield link takes precedence over this effect (this means any damage is affected by Berserker’s skills first, before being sent to the PET).
    • The PET Gear is available as a battle pass reward if you complete 20 Objectives

    New ship upgrade modules

During the Galactic Strife, it’s possible to get some of the new ship upgrades. You can get them as rewards in the Battle Pass Objectives. The following modules are given out:
    HP-SOL01HP+ 15% HPSolace200,000 Credits
    HP-C01HP+ 10% HPCitadel
    C-Elite
    C-Veteran
    200,000 Credits
    Hermes Drone Design

The Hermes Drone Design will be added as a chance reward to the Delta Galaxy Gate completion reward permanently.

    Ranking Rewards

During the event there will be two different types of ranking: the Reputation Ranking and the Reputation Per Kill Ranking.

Important: A minimum of 10 PvP kills is required to enter both rankings.

    Reputation Ranking Rewards
This is based on your Reputation at the end of the event.

    New Ship Designs

There will be 2 new ship designs for the “Sentinel” coming together with the event:
    • Neikos Sentinel (available as a reward in the Reputation rank)
    • Arios Sentinel (available as a reward in the Reputation per kill rank)

    New PET Gear

    Mega Mine
Once you activate this P.E.T. gear, your P.E.T. will deploy a mine at its current location. The mine detonates after 2 seconds, then proceeds to deal damage to all players not in your group in an area around the mine over 5 pulses.
    • The mine cannot be damaged by NPC Nuke
    • There’s a detonation cooldown of 240 sec
    • This skill can not be interrupted by JAMX effect
    • Ship skills that are only affecting NPCs do not damage this mine
    • Berserker’s Revenge doesn’t reflect damage dealt by this mine back to attackers (Berserker ship will still take damage from the mine pulse)
    • The PET Gear is available as a battle pass reward if you complete 20 Objectives
    • PET Gear stats:
      • Damage per pulse is now 75,000 (originally 100,000)
    PET Gear Usage:
    • Cannot be used in X1, Mercenary war games and LoW maps (same as Kamikaze)
    • Cannot damage players that are in DMZ
    • Cannot damage players that are in PvP Protection
    • If players in PvP Protection attack the mine, their PvP Protection is removed.
    • On usage, any PvP Protection and Respawn protection on casting player is removed.
    • Mine Pulses damage invisible players
