[GI] Bids at Auction

Can someone tell me please how on earth are new players to DO expected to compete in the Auction room when bids range form 150,000,000 to this 355,555,555 especially when DO knows what is happening. Beggers belief.

 

I agree the old players who have played for a long time put ridiculous bid sometimes over 1 billion mean while I only have a few million. It is not fair and I think there should be a separate auction for players between levels 1 to 14.

 

Your probably right but you can blow through to level 15 in less than a weekend. What is it you are attempting to bid on that is so high?

 

I don't think "new" players should even be going for items like that. What are you trying to bid on? Boosters? Those are mostly UFE equipment. Once you hit FE, getting credits should be absolutely zero problem for you.

Well I'm making money like crazy because I can't bank my Seprom like I use to. So ever other days or so, my Skylab has a full load of Seprom. I transfer it to my ship, what I can't use. I sell it and make around 13 million credits every few days. If I remember right, we use to not be able to sell it either. When we didn't have a limit, stock pilling Seprom, in our Lasers, Rockets, and Generators all of it went there. As I say I sell the extra. That is one reason I have so much money.

Plus Bot and Cheats who are flying 24/7 build up credits with every kill their bot does. The credits just flows in. There aren't much options in where and how to spend you credits. Most things in the Shop are Uridium base, well the good stuff, and credit items are useless for higher levels. So they aren't spending there credits there.

Going to the Auction House is one way to reduce your bank account. At least you can get something you want or might need. One thing I do at the SHOP is buy Ammo and Rockets that are Credit and use that instead of my Uridium which cost me real money. Most battle PvE credit ammo works but takes longer. I save Uridium Ammo and Rockets for battles that need it. As for the Bank, I don't know if DO has a limit there, and if they do they can reduce the amount on hand by spending it. Now I haven't been in the Auction House in a long time, but I understand your feelings. I was there in your shoes once, and was mad at the people who could buy things at a ridicules price. I felt like I was out in the cold. It would be nice to have a division for newbies and old timers, but I don't think DO will ever do that.

Thanks for the replies it is an an issue and the suggestion of 2 codes for the Auction room is a sound idea. You can bid with credits on all itemesin the auction room so when new it would be good to be able to(in a fair auction field) to bid on all the booster items.
