[GI] Bigboy thoughts

old player coming back just wondering if its worth it to still fly the bigboy or has the power gap grown that much?

Not worth flying bigboy any more the power gap is way to great now. But you can win an aegis or a citadel from the dialy auction for very cheap credits.

 

use the Big Boy to do gates only. Big Boy won"t last more than 2 sec. maybe in regular battle maps.

As stated, the power gap is huge. I fly the bigboy everyday. However due to the changes, I always expect to die any moment.

All good advise here. If you are a returning player and need to build up your level, while in the lowers maps I suggest the Leonov.

The Leonov has a built in boost (advantage) in lowers. Put best weapons on the ship. Yes on all other ships the best lasers go to drones for the level boost but it is the Leonov ship that gives the boost, so best weapons go to ship first then drones.​

I am UFE now and use my Leonov often to defend lowers maps and believe me, not many ships of any type make it out of the map alive
