[GI] Boosters.

I don't know how it's possible but I had a total amount of 110% shield boosters.

No, the actual "buyable" booster has a maximum boost ability of 100%. Since you had so many people around you, I'd assume some of them had "shareable" boosters which then stacked to your boost level.

 

No Ever, that's not exactly it how it works. The max buy-able booster level 50%....Bo1 (not shared) + Bo2 (shared)...They give 25% each to the user...... The Bo2 also gives 10% to nearby ships. So if you are next to five other company ships that have a Bo2 booster, you will get a total of 50% extra boost.....Making the max 100%.....If you are around six or more other players with Bo2, the shared boost you get is not supposed to go over 100% (from boosters alone). Hercs, drone levels, and drone formations all boost more, but it doesn't show as a % in the booster menu...That's all it is, a booster menu.

That would give you 105%, but an extra 5% more than that?? IDK man....except I'm not attacking that base lolz.

Also, have you clicked on the shield boost bar, so that it lists the items boosting you, instead of percent? IE..... (Bo1,Bo2,KBo1)?

 

I don't have kappa booster, I think it just went wrong with DarkOrbit as usual

It just shouldn't get over 100% I don't know or you would get 105% with kappa booster, I think it will just stay 100% as they say that's the max. you can get.

And no I didn't watched which boosters it were, cause everyone is moving over there and then I could lose the 110% before having a screenshot ;p

This may be wrong, however i am going to throw my suggestions out there. Is it possible that the 100% maximum boost applies to the B02 only rather than the shields as a whole? Therefore making the maximum boost possible be B01 (25%) + B02 (100%) + kB01 (5%) = 130%?

That seems like the most likely possibility to me.

Yeah that could be possible too, but when they calculate max shield power they always have 100% boosters max. (Without kappa booster)
Maybe others should try it out once ;p
