[GI] Bot or not bot

Recently I was popped by a player and when I spoke to some other players they told me that one was a bot. Now I was under the impression that bots were only useful for boxing or collecting palladium .
A- Is this true ( bots can hunt and attack ) and
B- If it is true , how can you tell ?
It seemed like just another player to me .
I have been popped by this same player or ship on several occasions and I find it hard to believe it's a bot. And YES , I am not giving the ships screen name on purpose. I don't want to falsely accuse anyone . Any informed insight into this would be greatly appreciated .TY

 

well your best bet would be is to report to the support. or any GA to come an take a look at your concern.

I would say that you are the victim of propaganda in Global Chat. I highly doubt this was a bot. However, if you are overly concerned about it, then you can certainly report it to Support.

What the other players probably mean is that they see that player botting a lot. There are some I used to see all the time and you could talk about them in chat for hours without them responding. Then later on they would come back talking about how "dedicated" to the game they are. Anyways, I doubt you were popped while they were botting.

 

Is not so hard to imagine there are things out there to select the right ammo and the right drone config at the right time. All they have to do is start the attack, and keep there ship close to yours. the rest is automatic.

 

Bots will not instigate an attack, they will only attack the npc is the map, if you shoot them they run to the nearest port, look in 1-3 or 1-7 today (01/06) there are plenty of bots in cyborgs full Spartans flying around, some without gate rings so how did they get the borg and spartan drones?
the game this week has been full of bots, all clamouring for points before server mergers!!
BP run your script to catch these cheats every day, clean the game up then look to merge servers as currently the bots out number the real players 10-1

 

The Spartans are under question tbh, as you can't get the blueprint, but Cyborg is obtainable without any gate ring.

 

Understand the borg but you cant get Spartans without doing gates and lots of them so how come no gate rings? mind you it was on a ship botting!!

It's best to just play the game and ignore them or shoot them down. Up to you, but don't go accusing or flaming these users in chat as it will get you nowhere nor will it help support in catching them.

Let the scripts do the job.
