[GI] Discount Upgrade Hour

Well trying to plan things out and it seems there is no Upgrade Hour tonight. Am I missing something or has the schedule for this changed?

 

They have not been adhering to an actual schedule since the first of the year for whatever reason.

 

Completely wrong, there was just an Upgrade hour the previous week so they removed the one which supposed to be yesterday

 

True, last week was an extra one, but all the rest of the year has been on schedule. My alarm normally goes off and Upgrade hour starts 5 minutes later. Hopefully it gets back on track as I would love to be able to count on something within this game with reguards to my gaming plan.

The upgrade hour are random you have to be logged into back page to see whether its available or not. Hope you catch-up with it soon.

Do you (the original poster) have any further questions or can we close?

 

It had not been random in the past as it was every other Friday, something you could set a calendar alert to. Then they ran one on a Sunday right after a Friday one and we have not seen one in just about a month. So that said, how about a real answer to the problem. I have been following them for over three years.

 

As Poseidon said, these events are still considered random. Whether or not they adhere to any apparent schedule for any length of time doesn't mean that the event might happen at a different time, or that it's guaranteed to keep happening as it has been. We don't know ahead of time when events like upgrade hour will be, and we cannot say it will return at a particular time just because it's expected due to however long a particular pattern went on for.

Personally, I thought I saw one over the weekend at some point on another server, but I didn't get to stick around to find out if that was the case at the time. I could be wrong, but I rather remember thinking I needed to choose between it and gates at the time before realizing I wouldn't be around anyway D;

In any case, there's been no news of removing the event or anything like that as far as I'm aware. We can only keep our eyes out for the next one.

First I want to say to PoseidonsFury, I hope I catch it soon too as it is part of my account plan.

At any rate, I am trying to figure out if its been cut altogether so I know how to plan. That weekend hour almost snuck by on me but I check nightly just in case it may happen again.

I will keep my eyes open and you can close the thread. Please pass a word to the devs that they need to give you some updated guidance as the grandfathered telemarketers stic really does not apply to everything as time changes. The game implies a lot, and when that becomes the norm, its the norm, and factual, and not implied. Thank You.
