Dominatoın event When to start

 

this week...domination event..

 

The Domination event will run from 17th July to 31st July

 

well today is 17th and.... dont start

 

Probably 1800hrs (or 6 pm) server time.

 

It doesn't give you a time it just says starts the 17th.

 

Almost all events start at midnight so it's strange that we are still waiting for it

 

Events have not started on time in the past year.

 

In the last 2 years I don't remember any event starting at 0001, they all end at 2359 though. I think the last ones to start at 0001 were like the Kuiper Gate where the issues reported during "TESTING" were not properly researched and allowed to be uploaded into the game to be exploited (200K Uridium every time a gate was completed). Since this time events being announced with start times have failed to be completely started without a hitch, if they started at all (on time), and recently they just say the day they will start.

 

Well they managed to bug the event on my server EG3 - INT7 VRU has all points and it impossible to couter capture them like it doesnt even start when i stand on the points i dotn even moove the bar sat there for 10 mins didnt even move i pixel they are stuck and no they were not locked.

 

Yeah, that Kuiper gate issue was explained by Mr DO himself in what I feel was his interview. The events starting on time has dwindled over the past years, as has any other thing that should start at midnight such as special boxes. The good thing is they are pretty good at starting and stopping them about the same time, meaning if it starts at 1600, 4 pm for our US civilian players lol, it usually ends at that time as well unless they put on an extension. I think the starting at a later time is good because the team is up and available to watch over the launch instead of setting it to start while they are still having a pre-celebration of another event knowing they will wake up to a slew of issues when they go to work.
