[GI] drone numbers

I'm only allowed 8 drones but I see other players with more. Why.

 

You can also get an Apis and Zeus drone. These have to be built (backpage, skylab, tech center). You can get parts from booty boxes, generally best to try during a Apis day or Zeus day. The more parts you collect, the less URI it will cost to build them.

 

Remember not to build the Apis until you have built the Zeus first. If building the Apis first it will need to be ready to be built again before you will collect a decent number of Zeus parts to reduce the price sufficient to allow for the building of it.

 

Thanks for the thought but I don't believe that I can get an apis or zeus drone without losing an iris drone

 

Apis and Zeus are 9th and 10th drones and do not affect the 8 Iris's. If you look carefully you will see 8 "I"'s (Iris) (or "F"'s / Flax) an "A" (Apis) and a "Z" (Zeus) above the players ship. These can also be different colors (Orange Halloween, Blue or Red for Havoc or Herc designs) as equipped.

 

Thank you, that is something I have overlooked. I'll check this out and see about getting 2 apis without getting rid of the iris drones.

 

You can not get 2 of either one of the BUILT drones re-read my post #5 it says exactly what you can have for drones. But for your benefit I will repeat it;
8 Iris/Flax drones (any combination but 8 maximum)
1 Apis Drone (built in Tech Center with Blueprints found in Booty Chests, Uridium, or both) 1,500,000 Uridium without any Bp or discounts
1 Zeus Drone (built in Tech Center with Blueprints found in Booty Chests, Uridium, or both) 1,500,000 Uridium without any Bp or discounts

Trying to build another "A" or "Z" will get an error of you have already built this and can not build another.

No problem there. Like I say if you ever plan on building a FREE Zeus Drone do not build the Apis till the Zeus is built.

You can have 8 iris or flax & an Apis and Zeus Drones.
