[GI] Halloween Gate

So has anyone completed the Tunnel of terror gate? It seems endless. How many wave are there?
I finished wave 65 and they just keep sending new waves, I had some real life events that needed attending to, so just let the next wave kill me.
Also, am I right, as long as I have the gate quest accepted I can't do the other missions?
They actually seem to have an end.
So if I abort, the gate mission to do the others, does the gate pick up where I left off, or start over from the beginning?
I sort of want to get back on the regular maps. The gate is becoming very tedious, and there are so many NPC's on each wave they take forever to complete.

The gate is 72 waves long and yes it is tedious at times u say ur at wave 65 well your next set of waves are going to be even more tedious
and long it starts with siblonits and a Uber Krystolon along with about 10 UBER SIBs and a UFO which has 10 Mil shields and 10Mil HP, but it's Dmg power is low. Ur last two waves are a demon drone and stuerner that has stong shileds and HP, then ur done.

72 long.. Loooong waves. Make sure you accept the mission before finishing it, cause it doesn't give a reward. I'm preping for a 2nd run XD

 

I finished it once, I don't figure to be doing it again. It just takes to much time. Don't forget the 8 demon challenge, accept that and kill the
eight Demons. Let the Strener kill you then go out and except the gate mission. Finish off the sterner and you should collect the gate reward.
I don't know if this is right, but I think it will work, if you want to do that challenge. I didn't see any reward so may not be any reason to bother.

 

charbru, You can only accept one special event quest at a time. I am glad to hear that you were able to complete the gate.

What is the JOB-100 reward?

 

You get 20k from the mission to Complete, the gate.

 

Job-100 is ammo thats it 3.5% . 5% more dmg then x3 for the same price as x2 ammo

 

I'm OK with a close, however it looks as if others are using it to answer some questions.
