[GI] Honesty Doesn't Always Pay

When someone in the game is caught cheating using a bonus box bot, damage program such as RSB Enhancer, or HP script for indefinite health; However, if you mention that is Global chat the fist person that is going to get banned is you. The fist thing the user screams proof. Since Dark Orbit is such a believer of Proof and there is nothing wrong with that... But when Dark Orbit knows that these activities are going on and they are doing nothing about it, then it becomes a problem for the community that doesn't cheat... It is like Dark Orbit supports the hacking activities that are going on in their maps on all servers... Remember the hacks that some players use are not free and whoever uses them must pay a fee to use these illegal proxy tools monthly, so it is not not like we are loosing money but it is just the fact that most hack uses are arrogant butt wipes that use peanut ships with big damage... You as a paying player has spent many hours and money maybe to make your ship to be shot down by one of these butt wipes then get a chat ban on top of that while the butt wipe continues hacking and talking crap on chat this is just crap... This is just crazy! It is like someone is defending someone.

Bigpoint can't simply ban players based off what a player says. For legal reasons they must be the ones to catch them, using their in house anti-cheat scripts. Yes, it may seem like the DO team isn't doing anything, but that’s why we announce ban waves from time to time, to publicly display that we haven't forgotten about cheaters. If you feel like someone is cheating, don't go accusing them in chat, because the only thing that will happen is that you'll end up chat-banned, because chat is not meant for throwing hundreds of accusations across the system.
