[GI] Inventory Help

I just got a new ship and am trying to move all my equipment from my previous ship to my Goliath. I cleared the configurations 1 and 2 from my old ship and equipped all the things that were added into the small inventory on the right in the hangar, but when I open my full inventory there are weapons and generators which I could really use, but I can't figure out how to access them or move them onto my currently equipped ship. Does someone know how I can equip them?

Try refreshing the page as sometimes it doesnt load properly. Also did you get an error message saying "You cant equip that item in this slot"? if so delete both configs and refresh the page and it should work

 

Should I just be able to drag and drop them from the large menu onto the ship if it works properly? I'll try that now.

 

Drag and drop should work, if how ever it fails to work delete your config cache and log out then clear your browser and flash cache. Log back in and open your hanger and you should be good to go with dragging and dropping equipment onto your ship. Note when adding CPU's that you may only have one of each type per config.

 

Hello, you may want to try going back to the original ship you unequipted from. Delete configs again (even if nothing is showing) refresh and the go back to the one you are trying to equipt but make sure you activate it first. Hope this Helps!

This is an OLD problem that should have been reported a long time ago. For about a year now we have had to unequip our ships click the Hangar again (to re-enter that system) go into the ship we were wanting to equip and then you will see all of the equipment you just took off the other ship. Sometimes you have to log out of D O and then back into the Hangar for it to register these are available.

If you are getting the error "can't equip to this slot" then you need to delete both configs and try to reload your ship (may even have to re enter the Hangar system as above). This has also been happening as long as the other issue but as it is random no one can find where the issue is to try to fix it.

 

the error message has been going on since like 2007. Not a recent thing like the other issue which is about 1-2 years now
