[GI] Killed while not even in game

So, if you use the logout button you are not being logged out? I was cloaked and logged out from the game, and when I entered again i was dead, killed by NPC. How does this happen?

 

It depends on where you were. When you log out, you should be sure to be in a demil zone, ie a portal or base or nyx. If you are out in the open, you leave yourself open to attack. Also, did it fully log out or did it lag? How long had you been cloaked? If you cloaked while the npc was close to you, it already knew you were there and will not forget.

 

I was cloaked before I entered the map, after I entered I was still cloaked. I was on 5-3 right near the entry portal (there were also no NPCs nearby) pushed the logout button, and after the countdown finished the browser window closed, so yea. Don't know what happened.

 

To add to PSK's comment if you you were on a map when icy's have spawned before cloaking they will still follow you and attack in numbers while in the DMZ, this is why players jump maps to rep while icy's are about. 5-3 is a pirate map and cloak's loose there effect that's why the NPC killed you.

 

Be IN the portal next time and you NO poof
