I was just chatting to a newby.
He told me that he looked at the Galaxy gates and noticed that an Expo Pusat was available to be won on the Epsilon gate.
It states quite rightly Expo 6 Pusat to be won.
The poor bugger bought a load of URI to find you need the Pusat in the first place.
This is another fault with the game where it would be soooo simple to say design.
But no another dissapointed newby whom said " what a farce". Along with so many more issues I wonder what Bigpoint are going to do with this game.

 

They are going to think of new ways to make money and ignore what you just wrote. xD

 

Ok but a pusat is just that a pusat, you can't go to ships in shop and buy a special pusat there all you can buy is just the pusat same as any other ship.
So if your unsure if it's a ship or just a design go to the shop and look, there are 2 spots one is for ships and one is for designs i think you can figure it out from there.

Many players get caught with this initially.

 

This is an issue that gets a lot of players, myself included. It would be helpful to say design. New players especially are not going to realize something advertised is just a cover for something else. Even if a player has been around for a while, you see Expo Pusat, and do exactly what the OP described. "Oh, let me go do some gates real quick so I can get that cool new thing." Oh wait, I don't even have the ship? I could have been doing something else. DO does not always think things through. They sent out an Arctic Ambassador design when most players didn't even have the Ambassador ship. Finally, and probably after people like me complained about getting the design in a pack purchase, they put the Ambassador ship for sale in the shop. It would be nice if they put the rest of the Nostro ships for sale, but the point is they did not mention it was a pack of designs. That would have saved a lot of people, to include the people at DO, some heartache. Unfortunately, they just seen it as a sales pitch. I feel sorry for the new player.

 

All i am saying now is hey it was free and it's a design the game is live and learn for somethings.
Now all the OP has to do is find a way to get the pusat and hey a free design comes with it.
Also one more quick thing, the OP isn't even the one who did the gate for the design so am just wondering why he chose to make a post about it?
Didn't seem to bother the player who did the gate that much as they didn't make the post?

 

I am guessing the OP was looking to point out the mess. Also not everyone that plays the game, comes to the forums. That said, we don't know what server they were talking on, either. Maybe the player posted on another language forum. Same issue, just posted elsewhere.

 

Yeah i know players who have been in the game for years and when you say hey something or some new event is coming they say where did you see that lol.

 

It would of only been free if someone didn't go out of their way to do the gate, just for that.

As for that latter part, I'm pretty sure that is a bad practice - "It didn't say it was a ship or design? You thought it was a ship? Oh, GOTCHA!". Things like this should be made totally clear and understandable, what they are - instead of there being a possibility of someone misunderstanding what it is. (in this case due to the wording, or lack of)

Well at least we had some comments on this subject. For those of us whom know the ropes (and have fallen for the trick and bought URI to make the gate) and then get the surprise it easy not to make the same mistake twice. Please close.

 

Although in the description as i said before "Expo" right there key word means design "Pusat" key word means ship.

 

And yet putting the word design after it would have kept everything so clear.
