So i've been wondering this for a while....what is it worth more?Pallying with or without pet to collect for you?
Note:I remember reading at a thread that pallying without pet is more efficient.

  2. IMO, it depends on what you have on your pet. If you are running level 1 resource collector with no radar, it best without pet as it will just try to stay right with you the entire time.

Level 1 collector has a range of 700 which is not much and if you move in the opposite direction of where the pet is going, it will stop and come back to you. Level 3 has a range of 3k, giving you more room to collect yourself while it does the same.

Radars help boost the distance starting at Level 1 adding 2% range and ending at Level 3 at 12%. These radars stack so as you add them, you will find your pet can be halfway if not all the way on the other side of the screen.

Right now I have a level 1 collector and a level 1 radar so I just use my pet to help keep the pirates off my tail as I collect the pally. On the other end of the spectrum, players with better setups sit in the field and let the pet do all the work. I hope this has helped you, cheers.. :D

I only have kami lvl 3 and it already burns 35 fuel(level 15 pet +1 gear) when i destroy it for pirates,so im in a dilemma :/.......

  4. The same that goes for boxing goes here - YOU along with your pet is the most efficient way of earning uri (if boxing) or gg spins (when pallying); People often ask me how I manage to make ~10k uri per hour when I box without a doubler or protocols, just tractor beam from the bio and I manage solely because I don't do it all myself, nor let my pet do all the work; Try it out if you have any doubts

I don't box but i tried another tactic. At my battle config, which i use for killing the pirates, i have only kami lvl3 and on the speed config i have only resource-collector lvl3.

  6. 35Fuel *60=2100, so you spend 500 Uri for Palla. It's still worth, because my PET usually collect 500 per hour (=33EE=33*100*0,7 Uri=2310 Uri) You could even renounce the radar protocols if you try to synergy with the PET (collecting near PET and don't collect its targeted Palla)).
Use a full damage configuration and kill the abusing pirates in a short time, while your PET collect the Palla.

  7. Yeah I used to do the same when I was weaker but honestly it gets annoying always having to re-choose the pet gear every time; Although if you are really only interested in being as efficient as possible then your method is the way to go

I also have premium+rebate so that should 350 uridium.

  9. And if you collect a full tank of PET Fuel when they put it on SALE then you can pally for even less and not worry about how much he is costing you to collect it. As stated you kill the pests while he continues to collect and get double the benefits, run with 3 radars, 2 cargos and premium for auto refine npc cargo, trader to sell the Promerium without leaving map and pally your heart out until the next sale hits and fill him up again (.11 uridium or 9 fuel per uridium spent) Maximum usage is 78 (without fuel protocols) pally for 11 hours killing pests then spend down the Uridium you collected from that. Guild your gate and then use the Uridium you received from it and do it all over again buying just enough fuel to keep the PET active until the next Sale and fill him full again twice that day (when you start and before the sale ends that day). For what you gain from using him you really are not losing anything.

When you say "do it all over again" you mean to buy fuel and do all the thing that you stated before that point?

  11. He means purchase fuel again.

  12. Actually I meant the complete cycle as stated below.

You built a gate and ran it now it is time to pally another gate and using the Uridium you just collected from the gate you should be able to have your PET collect Pally while you protect yourself from the Pirates that want to pester you and again have enough Uridium to keep him flying with fuel. It is a circle, Pally to spin, Spin to open Gate, run Gate to get Uridium, use Uridium to fuel PET, and repeat the circle. Some do throw an extra curve in there and box or do some quests or just kill NPC's to break the monotony but I have found the PET does not cost all that much to keep deployed and fully equipped for whatever I might want to use it for. And if you are really lazy you could even equip your ship to buy 10,000 units of PET Fuel with the FB-X-CPU. Only 1750 Uridium per buy if Prem and Rebate is used.

  13. Ah, sometimes I should read the post more than once and not fast when I do. On the flip side, the CPU is not being lazy. It keeps down a lot of frustration caused when you run out of fuel. I need to pally to finish my alpha...
