  1. again, we pick out a item that is supposed to take out all ships in the vicinity, and it does do as claimed. If you are not going to provide the items and the method of destruction, or other... then do not offer the item to waste our money or points.

I was attacked by two players, and it did go off but not after me being destroyed. This is the description of this P.E.T. gear:

When your P.E.T. or ship is close to being destroyed, the Kamikaze Detonator will start the self-destruct sequence and explode, thereby taking out all enemies in the immediate vicinity.

After the detonator has gone off, your P.E.T. will be massively damaged and have to be repaired.
None of the ships were destroyed as claimed... which is why I was destroyed. I want my 7500 u returned. You want my money yet the things you give are mostly worthless. Another fine example of your greed is the item upgrading... we have to pay for it, yet at the same time your upgrades fail. What is the point with that? So in other words, buy and spend you uridium on something that will not work over 98% of the time.

I am giving you guys one more month, if this crap does not change... I am gone. I will let all gamers I know to stay away from your games, and set up sites on the web and on FaceBook to advise others to refrain from even looking at your games.

  2. Ahahahaha, perhaps you should recheck the facts. First off, you're not getting your uridium back. It was your mistake. It says sequence, that means it's likely not gonna be instant. The pet has to be on top of the target to activate and if the target is moving it takes forever and deals minimal damage. You also have a low craps level of kamikaze, which deals 25k damage with bad radius splash damage. Even with Kami 3 unless your target is a pirahna, liberator or phoenix do not expect the target to be destroyed. You didn't look at the info, and thus you messed up. You won't get paid back for your mistake. So go ahead, tell your friends lol.

  3. Hmm, seems you were attacking the OP on another thread as well. He did ask a question, and as such you did provide a wealth of knowledge. For the OP, I hope you are good with the "information" that was handed out.

    Next o_O

  4. Fair enough. I'm grumpy when I don't have coffee. But really it's annoying when people think they deserve recompense for their mistake. Sorry Op. But I hope you did get the information you wanted/needed.

    Hello Mephistophelean,

Do you have any further questions or can we close?

First of all - these are not complete information. You forgot to include this:

These are solid informations - damage and radius. What you just quoted above is "the advertisement" of the product. So what you basically did, was to rely solely on advertisement... That's not very smart - whether in game/games or real llife. For me this is to little knowledge to even consider buying it. What you SHOULD do is to use search engine and get the info you needed - like the first and obvious one: DON'T BUY LEVEL 1 GEARS.... thats a waste of uri, because sooner or later you will switch to better.

I'm not saying DO is giving you all info - it is scarce and poorly explained sometimes. This is the reason you should look for additional information elsewere - almost every game has forums and their wikia articles.

This is age of information - you need to know how to find it and verify it. Otherwise you're going to have a bad time.... very bad time.

Again, a player buys an item based on the product information most readily to hand, only to be disappointed.
I have done it myself. In fact if there is anyone out there who hasn't, what's your secret? Care to share lol? (And how many of you are there? And how many times have you done it? And doesn't all that ill appropriated profit all add up....)

Sorry you feel you were misled Meph. All the information you require is actually there, but you have to select and scroll etc to access it. I would advise you do this with every purchase, and also use the forum and DO wiki etc if you are are serious about spending.

I must say here, that describing the kamikaze gear as being able to 'take out all enemies in the immediate vicinity' is stretching it a bit. 'Some' enemies. Yes. With levelled up PET and kami lvl3. There you go. Either it does or doesn't, and if it doesn't, it's pretty cynical and/or irresponsible marketing, and I'm with Meth on this, as he has quoted the item description accurately.

What you are forgetting here Rievhgar, is that this is first and foremost a business, and the game interface is a marketing tool. As such, the vendor has a duty to offer accurate descriptions of products. You are right, the customer has a personal responsibility to inform themselves, but in the case of this type of business model, there are many factors introduced as impediments to informed choice.

If inadequate protection is extended to the consumer, all in game purchases should be accompanied by a 'BUYER BEWARE' clause.

Well they're the one's counting profit - and this is their tactics to earn the most ;) They are not the only ones, almost everyone tries to get as much money from their clients as they can. Informations they give about products are valid - you can't accuse them of lying, unfortunately. But of course they are not telling everything - and that's how marketing works :/ By playing this game you are accepting this way of things. You can always make posts how it's unfair etc. but it's like throwing pebbles at Mount Everest to get it attention ;)

The only conclusion is - don't trust anyone (when it comes to sales). Be constantly aware of tricks they use, double check everything and verify info whenever you can.

Btw. Have you ever heard about company telling clients - don't buy our products, it's faulty or not what you expect? Me neither ;)

And by all means - I'm NOT defending Bigpoint. I'm just telling to take responsibility for one's choices - that way you'll get far less dissapointments :)

Lol Rievhgar. All valid points. At the end of the day, though, unless it is captive, the market will decide eh ;)

  10. Meph, this is your second (or first:confused:) thread about miss-understanding items in the game.

If it happens once, shame on Bigpoint for being misleading, but if it keeps happening, you need to adjust your levels of scrutiny and awareness. (specifically for THIS game :()

This game REQUIRES you to be a detective about all the features, because not knowing exactly what to do in this game will literally COST you something (uri, time, money, ammo) that you DON"T have to spend.

I feel your pain, but going forward YOU need to take the time to READ the whole DO bible (OMG reading !:eek:o_O:D!)

AND read ALL the info about products before you buy them ...not just the nice pretty " TAG LINE THEY USE TO GET YOUR ATTENTION AND YOUR MONEY !!!! "......you have to read the FINE PRINT: ...................The Devil's in the Details Meph, you gotta look for them !!!
