[GI] Pirate maps... Damage?

Hello all,

I have a question about pirate maps. Sometimes when in 5-3 my ship and pet get hit by an unseen force. As soon as I get hit my ship repairs instantly, then around 10 seconds later I get hit again. This happens whatever I may be doing, sitting, collecting, flying, fighting. However it doesn't seem to happen every time I am in there?
When it does happen I have logged in and out, flown in and out but it persists.

Is this a glitch or am I missing something?

 

Sounds like a glitched Barracuda. There is a bug that sometimes occur when one dies it will turn invisible and keep on doing its kamikaze effect. If I had to guess it would be caused if the player kills the Barracuda at the exact same time as the NPCs kamikaze goes off.

Never had it happen to me but from what others have said the way to get rid of it is to log out for 20 mins or so then it should be gone.

First time I heard the possible fix but Okapi32 is correct as it is a glitch where the Barracuda Kami is not going off when it is killed but leaves a mine for others to find and get hit by. I find it most at the 5-2 base as everyone drags the NPC's there to kill them, but have had it in all the Pirate maps. It is something the Dev's need to look into as it does come and go on a regular basis.

Thank you Okapi32 and Hades~Pôšëîdõn‡Tríp for assisting the user with their concern. It's an issue most users have come across at one time which involves an invisible barracuda exploding, to get rid of it you need to go to port/gate/demili, get something else to hit you and then use kami gear on your pet to kill it or head to port and relog in.
