[GI] Plague Debuff questions

First question, does the 10% damage bonus affect all your damage outputs? (Lasers, rockets, hellstorm etc?) Do you recieve 10% more damage aswell?

Second question, I don't understand the SERUM-CPU XL (x10 applications) Where are these stored, and how do I access them?

A Damage Booster when obtained gives the player the ability to cause 10% damage. It does not mean they will get 10% more damage. The booster lasts 10 hours from the time of purchase and only runs in game, not real time

A Shared Damage booster gives a boost of 5% with any same company players nearby. These boosters are only available for limited times only and are not always in the Shop.

You do not have to equip the item. When obtained it is automatically applied to your ship. The damage increase is on lasers as well as rockets.

The SERUM-CPU XL is a cure for the infection you may get ( the green blob that surrounds ships. )
This item, when obtained needs to be equiped on your ship in order to use it. You will also need to access it on your tool bar in order to use the item.

On the first matter, I might not have been specific enough. The first question was regarding the plague debuff, not any damage boosters. Here is a link to the FAQ that brought these questions to my mind:

It does not specify if you cause 10% more damage of if you recieve 10% more damage. It just says +10% more damage..

On the second matter, I hadn't realised the x10 serum was a CPU you had to equip to your ship. I've found it now, many thanks!

 

The +10% damage is you deal it and I believe it is on all damage you inflict. The serum is used to cure YOU or the ship locked if plagued, be careful doing this since the people running around with it on want to be dealing the extra damage, if they are PvP'ing you then by all means get rid of their illness, but if they are PvE'ing they are going to hate you for doing it. Be careful to make sure you get the 10X CPU as the single will cure you NOW.

 

Also another heads up on the serum, if your ship is infected and you are trying to escape from an enemy that's also infected and you have the other player locked when you use serum you will also use a serum on your opponent aswell giving them the ability to go faster also. To avoid this click on something else before you use the serum then click your opponent again. Cheers
