[GI] Question on UBA

I was wondering if seprom/promerium etc. does not work in the UBA, even if you have it on your ship already? I'm asking because when i go in, by shield is instantly lowered on both configs, and my damage seems lower than it should be. Just wondering if this happens to anyone else, or if everyone knew about it, and I was unaware. Thanks for letting me know

 

They no longer work in UBA.

 

hmm ok. do you know why they decided to make it not work?

 

I'm assuming because of people glitching in to get newb players while they were full uber fe players.

There was an exploit that would allow players to use ore updates so that they would get matched against lower-level players, which has been disabled since the bug-fix as per Patch Notes - October 2015. Nano Hull and Ore Updates are no longer available in the Ultimate Battle Arena and are not factored in when determining the gear score.

So my question on this topic would be.. If I decided to try out the UBA, and I already have sep loaded to lazers, Do I shoot with Sep damage or no? If no, does my sep count go down as I fight anyway?

Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple​

 

You don't deal sep damage, it takes all resources out, then puts them back once you leave the UBA.
